Aren't these the same people who freak when they see a burqa or hijab?

They certainly are.

My dad feels this way about living in the St. Louis suburbs in Illinois. Missouri Republican lawmakers live somewhere far to the right of Hitler.
I ran screaming from Missouri. Unfortunately, I found myself in Florida. Guess I didn't run far enough.

To go along with the previous post.
If they require 2 layers, I suggest all the women quit wearing bras. And the men should all show up in tank tops.

Y'know there's a "right to bare arms" joke in here - especially because is Missouri, which is SO in love with the 2A.

I mean, joke aside, it's an apt comparison: Open carry laws would let these mofos bring their guns into the street and anyone who thinks it's intimidating or threatening can just f right off. But gawd help my heart rate if you show a little skin.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,
As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Yeah, I think the foundation of the effort, so to speak, is that the sexy women in the Missouri state legislature are making them uncomfortable. Even the ladies who have more melanin than others. Maybe especially those ladies.

And it's kind of funny that these guys are supposed to be legislators, and legislators are supposed to have a grasp of what can, and what cannot, be the subject of effective legislation.

But if they think they can stop ladies from being sexy by making a set of rules ...

Here's the thing: Sexy is a state of mind, more than anything else. You could make an infinite number of rules, and a sexy woman is still going to make you very, very uncomfortable, if you are that kind of guy. Can you feel her, just sitting next to you? You can?

Okay, now she's 8" (10 cm) away. Can you still feel her? You can? You seem to be sweating profusely, Senator. The temperature is rather cold in here. Would you like to move a little further away from the sexy lady? Hmm? :batting:

True confession: When I was 16, I was in the shotgun seat of a car, and a pretty girl I liked, but who was unapprachably beautiful, was in the center between me and the driver, for what must have been whole minutes (but took hours in my brainbone) and I swear I thought my entire left side was gonna be permanently paralyzed.

So I grew out of that stage 54 years ago, but Missouri Republicans haven't. Which means, not only is it stoopit, it won't work.
I wasn't anywhere near 70 years old when I had learned that much.

Ack! A math error AND a troo confession. :blackeyebig:

I'm not gonna edit it. Otherwise nobody would see you spotted it.
Edit: Even worse, Alexa is sitting right here. If I had consulted her, I would have had the same number you did. And now her feelings are hurt, because I didn't ask her. :blackeye:
Edit: This is why we need two "black eye" smileys AND the "bag on head".
The more I learn about this planet, the more improbable it all seems. :confuzzled:

Attention MO GOP children. It is not the ladies' fault that you are bunch of hornballs with no self-control and see women (and sometimes boys) as objects to be used. No wonder you are afraid of the gay. You assume they think like you and will treat you like you treat women.
