In your defense, I am lyric deaf with at least half the songs I hear for the first time. They are muddled musical vowel sounds. Sometimes it takes years for me to recognize the words in a song heard on the radio.

I should have watched it again with the sound up more because I couldn't make it out.neonzx wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 11:19 amReally? I couldn't make it out. In my defense, as a teenager I was disqualified from all branches of the military due to my hearing. I wanted to go Navy (tech). I passed the written tests with high marks / failed the physical, for the early entrance program.

The “mom’s” accent appears to be from Liverpool / Merseyside (Liverpudlian / Scouse).

In addition. I wrote a letter to every person (elected or appointed( they all sent me the same BS. I had a folder that was 2 inches thick of negative responses. All same boiler plate messages Um, didn't work.

I represented two wives who fled the cult and successfully fought to return their children to them. I also got children in foster care away from the foster parents who were part of the cult. They have a ritualized beating of children. Cuz gawd sez so.Maybenaut wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 6:39 pm I am not at all surprised. Not because he’s a Duggar, or friends with right-wing politicians, but because this sort of crime is ubiquitous. It’s everywhere. And it’s a lot easier to commit than it used to be.
I’m all for law enforcement enforcing anti-child pornography statutes. But we’re deluding ourselves if we think they’re catching even one tenth of one percent of the perpetrators.
One of my cases involved a witness from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children who talked about how they try to identify the children in these images. I couldn’t imagine having to do that for a living.
If he’s guilty, Josh Duggar can go fuck himself. And if he’s not guilty, we’ll, he can still go fuck himself.
Josh abused his sisters and a babysitter. He wasn't charged with the crime. He was sent to a christian therapy thingie, but wasn't. Instead he helped someone do remodeling homes. His mom said his parents corrected him....
He was active in the Family Research Council and has appeared with many GOP wingnuts.
Makes me angry to even post about that f*cking cult....

Has @Jeopardy asked any of @TheMuppets to guest host? Kermit is probably too busy but maybe Jan or Rowlf? Pepe would be amazing but I think he would struggle with clue reads...

@MaryCooks
Grover, obviously.

Grover is the one and only possibility (apologies to Miss Piggy). He quotes Robert Frost and NEVER uses contractions when he speaks. Plus he has a cape!!!

I've managed to exchange a few emails with Addie, she's trying to register but having struggles. If worse comes to worst, I will try registering her myself and sending her a password. She needs a new laptop, she says, and had no internet for a while.
More will be revealed, but I think she's going to be here soon.

Re: Hijack This Thread
Not to hijack the thread, of course, but have you ever noticed that, of all the gods in all the religions that have ever been created throughout human history, none of them have ever been lawyers?
Lawgivers, sure. But lots of legislators are not lawyers. Hammurabi was not a lawyer. Or a god, but he was the original lawgiver, dang his hide.
So anyway, gods seem to make a lot of laws, but none of them are really lawyers.
Things that make ya go hmm.
