They have so much sh*t it is insane. I saw at least 10 wrapped pallets being loaded into a semi trailer. Who accumulates this much stuff in 34 days with only 40-max people? Now many fewer There was and and is much more than those 10 pallets to go.LM K wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 4:12 am
1776 threw out an enormous amount of food today. While the food was past it's expiration date. It was all perfectly fine.

Okay, 95%+ of their stuff is out. The "refer" trailer is still there (cold food). And the fake firetruck is still there (which someone in live chat told me the landlord is allowing for a few days -- it has mechanical issues).
Pretty barren. No karaoke for our holiday evening entertainment. Sorry.

NO campground found!
The cult can't talk to a potential landlord until Thur. The cult has grifted hotel rooms for the week.
I'm sure the hotel has no idea what's coming their way.

I'm still surprised (horrified) a county-owned campground allowed them or didn't boot them quickly. They are not family friendly.

Ummm, I guess I’m glad I didn’t pay much attention to these folks.

You don't find this saga at least as interesting as listening to stories about a pregnant bigfoot?Greatgrey wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 8:05 am Ummm, I guess I’m glad I didn’t pay much attention to these folks.

She is.
Rose is a Christian fundamentalist. But, she doesn't know "her place". She likes to lead prayer. She once led a meeting when Santa was absent. (IIRC, Santa was AWOL.) As often as possible, she reads passages from a book on "Christian Patriots".
People were pissed when she held the meeting "without permission".
Basically, she's behind the scenes and a bit of a bossy busybody.
I don't understand why people hate her, though. I honestly think it's patriarchal Christian Fundamentalism. She doesn't know her place.

Dumb question: Does this "convoy" still contain any actual ... trucks?
Re: American Peoples Convoy Protest
So, a "Christian fundamentalist" sleeps around with men they are not married to? Huh.LM K wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 1:57 pmShe is.

I mean, I don't care what consenting adults do but don't try and shove holiness in my face. Hypocrites.

Ahhh, that reminds me of a conversation I had with my Colorectal Surgeon about what actually constituted a “movement”.

Re: American Peoples Convoy Protest
Wysiwyg had a radio show last night titled "WTF is really going on???". It was almost 4 hours long.
Wys hosted multiple members of 1776. They talked a lot about Suicide Squad. Santa was a guest. Freedom Squirrel was a guest at the same time. I listened only to the Santa portion of the show.
Santa went OFF. He was vile. I understand his anger. He was the typical entitled white fundamentalist male. He was enraged with Freedom Squirrel. While I understand why, his interview was a fountain of toxic masculinity.
His anger made it VERY obvious that Suicide Squad has nearly killed the movement*. He is deeply offended that his decisions about Bandit have been questioned. Suicide Squad rubbed his defense of Bandit in his face all day, everyday.
Santa admitted that he never demanded proof about Bandit. But he used his regular excuses; 2 victims are certain Bandit isn't an offender. Bandit's ex-wife was mean. Bandit it very nice. Etc. (He still hasn't seen the alleged court sealed letter from Bandit's victim recanting her accusations. Probably because the letter doesn't exist.)
Santa then went off about being a "real man". And he's sick and tired of transgendered persons "rubbing their choice in his face". Oh, and people hate him because he's a Christian and a "real man**" and the movement because it's Christian.
*I'm not ready to say the movement is dead. We'll see what happens.
**Santa is homeless. He can live in his rig. He will probably move in with family. Are "real men" aka Proud Boys homeless?

So he is a trans-phobe, just like the Oreo. Now I understand why they get on so well.LM K wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 6:33 pm Santa then went off about being a "real man". It is comical to me, in a sad way -- Santa(Satan) doesn't realize he has interacted with transgendered persons throughout his life. He didn't know they were trans, unless they told him. Pisses me off. They can't go after the gays anymore so new target.
