I am very hard to fingerprint. I have had several jobs where it was required and they usually give up and say "well, this will just have to do, I guess" after trying everything, including cleaning my fingers over and over again. It apparently has nothing to do with my hands producing grease or whatever, I have exceedingly shallow ridges, so they really just don't come out very well, no matter how clean my fingers are. Oh well, so much disappointment.
It happens. If they can get six good ones on a ten card along with notes why the others are missing, they'll be accepted especially if it is for common area access. But, if they really need those ten, your fingers can be soaked in warm water for several minutes to "fluff" up a bit.

Yes, see how much fun it is to speculate? Which is nice, because we may not learn anything new today.

And I speculate that if'n I knew I had touched some of those documents, I would definitely be interested in hiring an attorney to help me turn myself in before the feds came to get me. 'Course, I'd also too contact Queen Didulo for help, wouldn't you?

I would not know for sure if they could successfully lift my prints.

But better to be on the safe side. :batting:

As to all those empty folders, how many of you believe he took the contents out so he could carry them around, possibly sharing them with others, without it being conspicuous by having them in those brightly colored folders? I can't think of any reason to remove them from the folders. Aside from the fact that he shouldn't have had them at all.

It's pretty clear he was up to something criminal and probably harmful to the United States.

Pipi and I have never been fingerprinted! We have never been involved in an infamous golf ball caper. We have never been in the military. We have never lived in a state requiring fingerprints for a driver's license. The logical conclusion is we are identical twins!!!!!!!!!

Me too, does that make it triplets?

They can’t really be this dumb, can they? Newsmax host doesn’t understand why it’s a big deal that Trump had a bunch of classified cover sheets, since there were no documents attached to them: “What’s the problem?”

I don't know if this applies to you, RV, but there is a genetic condition in which people are born without fingerprints. It's rare, but it's a thing.

In my 30ish years of medical transcription, I saw it once. I'd never heard of it before that.

The president isn't an employee and doesn't have a security clearance.

But the assumption he has been fingerprinted by some agency at some point in his life is reasonable.

If you’ve ever signed a notarized document, there’s your thumbprint in the notary’s logbook. Don’t know how long those are kept, but I’d say the feds should check around Trump lawyers’ offices, etc.
