As foreperson forerooster of the Fogbow Galactic Grand Jury, I use folders like that for keeping pizza slices in the refrigerator. 'Course, the "TOP SECRET" label doesn't really discourage the curiosity of a certain Wifehorn, in fact she's more likely to insist on inspection and testing of the contents.

But I don't leave empty folders in the refrigerator. The FBI staged the photo. :fingerwag:

Let's hope there really was some Deep State in place that collected a couple of TFG's empty Diet Coke cans or other things that he touched. Because unless someone grabbed an item that he touched, it's unlikely that his fingerprints are on file anywhere. I can't see that man ever having consented to having his fingerprints taken. He's never had a job outside of his own family, certainly not a job that would require you to submit to fingerprinting.

So, the idea that they have his fingerprints for comparison is probably a fever dream, unless someone had the wherewithal to save something that he touched while he was at the White House. I sure hope that as soon as he moved out that some law enforcement started digging through the White House trash collecting things that contain his prints. But that's a fever dream, too.

Hey, maybe I'm either having a Dragon Dream or a Wolf Dream - I must be part Targaryen or part Stark!

The FBI just needs to dust some of his precious framed Time magazine frontpages. Nobody else gets to touch those! ;)

To my knowledge, all gov't employees and anyone applying for a security clearance has to be fingerprinted.

I would love to see the person who told Donald Trump "we WILL be fingerprinting you, sir". I'm guessing it didn't happen. Nobody had the cojones to tell him to return classified documents when he "finished reading them", and nobody told him he had to step on a scale to be weighed or stand still so we can measure how tall you are. They damn sure didn't hold him down while they forcefully fingerprinted him against his will.

It's not difficult to obtain fingerprints surreptitiously.

As I understand the process, they first find and "lift" any fingerprints off the paper, which can be difficult depending on the type of paper and so forth. Then they eliminate anyone whose prints are already in the massive FBI databases.

I submit this statement from Wikipedia:
While in college, Trump obtained four student draft deferments during the Vietnam War era.[12] In 1966, he was deemed fit for military service based upon a medical examination, and in July 1968, a local draft board classified him as eligible to serve.[13] In October 1968, he was classified 1-Y, a conditional medical deferment,[14] and in 1972, he was reclassified 4-F due to bone spurs, permanently disqualifying him from service.
But you're saying that the government never managed to obtain his fingerprints through all of that. I wonder ... but it would have been a little more difficult to tell the draft board, "Fuck off, I'm Donald Trump."

It would be irresponsible not to speculate, y'know. :oldman:

Allegedly he has a NY drivers license.

I dunno about NY, but in Texas we got fingerprinted in Drivers Ed class when applying for our learners permit.

The chances of him NOT being fingerprinted during his life is about a thousand times less likely than him being fingerprinted at some point.

I got fingerprinted once because I was in a car with a moron who stole a lot of golf balls from a driving range and tried to sell them back to the range owner.

I forget how it came about that I was in the car, but I certainly didn't get in because I wanted to be part of the golf ball scam, in fact I told the dude he was an idiot and wanted nothing to do with it. But the cops got my name and I had to come to the station to get photographed and fingerprinted. 'Course, I've been fingerprinted several other times, most recently to get a license to sell health insurance.

They never took me alive for the golf ball caper. :daydreaming:

I would imagine that Trump’s fingerprints are on file from prior to his Presidency. He may have given them in connection with a CBP trusted traveler program (Global Entry) or in connection with a gambling license for his casino.

I think Global Entry took both fingerprints and a retina scan. Prior to obtaining Global Entry in 2014, I think my fingerprints were in government possession from when I obtained my law license, although I may have also given a thumb print when I took the LSAT.
When my ex-wife was applying for naturalization, she had to be fingerprinted. This was done by the Seattle police. The people who were waiting in the line to be fingerprinted were a curious mix: would-be immigrants and applicants for concealed weapon permits.

I wasn't aware he had that much interaction with the military regarding his eventual bone spur deferment. So, yeah, if he actually got as far as the military giving him any kind of medical examination, fingerprints may have been a part of that process, I'm not sure. But if was not fingerprinted during that process it would surprise me if he was ever fingerprinted. But I will concede that if fingerprinting was part of his contact with the military prior to getting let off the hook due to "bone spurs" then yeah, they may have his fingerprints on file.

On the matter of fingerprints, depending on who may have spilled the beans on Trump, that person also could have been asked to find an excuse to "throw his Diet Coke can away" or something like that. It probably would be easy enough for one of the Secret Service or one of the maids or various employees who may have given information to find a way to purloin something with his prints on it.

Personally, I would love it more if the process of gaining his prints was done surreptitiously than if he had consented.

I like seeing shoulders drop and relief cross the faces of people that process my prints (at least once a year). With today's biometric systems, my right index alone will bring up pages of information.

The first time I was fingerprinted was when we had a break-in when I was a teenager (some dude attacked my mom and although they caught him, he got away with it  ). Anyhoo, they took my prints for elimination.

Then I got printed a number of times in the military, as well as when I applied for admission to the CA and VA Bars.
They certainly have probable cause to arrest Trump. And if they do, they can take his prints. So even if they don’t have anything to compare the prints on the docs yet, they would if they arrested him.

I am very hard to fingerprint. I have had several jobs where it was required and they usually give up and say "well, this will just have to do, I guess" after trying everything, including cleaning my fingers over and over again. It apparently has nothing to do with my hands producing grease or whatever, I have exceedingly shallow ridges, so they really just don't come out very well, no matter how clean my fingers are. Oh well, so much disappointment.

He's a self described germaphobe, but he'll deny it as fake news if it's brought up in the news.
