Within weeks, Trump would have new lawyers to deal with the documents, and the FBI’s attention would shift from top-secret material Trump returned to the Archives to classified items they believed he had kept in Florida. One lawyer who received the email, former White House deputy counsel Pat Philbin, would be interviewed by FBI agents who considered him a witness in the rapidly expanding investigation.

Looking down the road I assume the case before Magistrate Judge Reinhart will wind down since it was really only an action to approve a search warrant and the only issues remaining seem to involve what will be unsealed. From there I assume further action will depend on whether the DoJ files criminal charges and what happens to Trump's civil actions?

Will any of this stay with Judge Reinhart or will a "full" judge or judges be assigned at some point?

It's a strange read and no idea why it's on this docket... maybe it's to counter Patrick Byrne's Unsealing request, but that was DENIED. Any guesses on this mystery filing?

He is a reactor, always has been. His "strategy" for dealing with a crises has always been to distract the media with further crises and watch it vanish from the headlines. With this one he cant see whats going on through the headlines and the Justice department does not seem to be very distractable. So its plan B - Delay delay delay delay. And hope it goes away.

Anyone wanting to think he has some kind of 11th dimensional chess going on is simply wrong. No this does not make sense. no there is no plan. Its just shame, fear and a voice whispering "loser," that he tries to drown out with applause. That's all that's in his head.
