He should be thankful to be alive. Screw the golfing -- and go be with his family.
Even if he can’t play competitive golf any longer, he’ll still continue to build and work with his foundation, and he’ll also likely continue to design golf courses, personal appearances, and yeah, continue to spend time with his kids. His son is becoming a good golfer, swings a little like dad (go figger).
He’s not suddenly going to become a dottering old man sitting on the balcony wrapped in a blankie.
