Problems that have already been fixed
Foggy, on your to do list could change the behavior on links to open in a new tab? Right now they open in the same tab and you cannot go back to the Fogbow using the back button. Oh and please create a subforum for reporting problems if that's what we had before.
Re: Links open in same tab.
I had the same problem yesterday with the tab, but I think I was able to use the back button to get back.

The favicon is back, but you might have to clear your cache.

Problems which have already been fixed
When I try to open the normal "https" version of the forum I get a "Cannot establish a secure connection to the server" error. The "http" version works. It just started this morning. I am using Windows and Firefox.
Re: The secure version of the Fogbow is broken
I am also having this problem with Firefox and Ubuntu Linux.

Re: The secure version of the Fogbow is broken
Me three. Can get in on Chrome, on Firefox I get:

Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

I'm in using the Avast browser. But it's not secure. Couldn't get in on Chrome.
May the bridges I burn light my way.

I got it to come up in Chrome if I deleted the s in https. For whatever that's worth.

Re: The secure version of the Fogbow is broken
Yes, that's what I did. That switches you from using the secure version where traffic is encrypted to the unsecured version. My guess is that it is related to the change in hosting companies and something to do with the security certificate. It is no big deal for the short term since you are not putting stuff like credit card data in the traffic and it is a public forum anyway.Slim Cognito wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:10 pm I got it to come up in Chrome if I deleted the s in https. Re: The secure version of the Fogbow is broken
yeah well damn.
I'm in on the unsecure (http://) but then that keeps randomly logging me out.
Foghorn will get to it (he apparently has something of a life or fambly outside this forum -- who'd have thunk it?)

Re: The secure version of the Fogbow is broken
It's been intermittent for me, FWIW. I just connected on HTTPS and browsed a few threads, then it couldn't connect again and I had to drop back to HTTP.

Had similar problems this morning. None of my TheFogbow links worked. Now using the Not secure URL.
