Silly me, I thought that was Louis XVI, but I think I was just hoping we could have the same ending.

Some observers believe the cancellation may be linked to the fact that Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, plans to visit Denmark at the end of September and that the President fears being compared unfavourably to him.

Trump expert and author David Frum said: “Trump was scared of the likely contrast. Trump knows Obama is bigger than he is, around the world as well as in the United States.

Iceland's Prime Minister Says She'll Skip Mike Pence's Visit, Citing 'Prior Commitments'

(REYKJAVIK, Iceland) — Iceland’s leader has announced that she will skip U.S. Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to her Nordic nation, opting instead to keep “prior commitments” by attending a trade union conference in Sweden.

Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir said that she’s planned for months to give the keynote speech for the Council of Nordic Trade Unions’ annual meeting in Malmo, Sweden, on Sept. 3 — the day before Pence’s arrival. She has no plans to return the following day for his visit.

“This visit, that was organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, has been bouncing a lot around the calendar so that it has been very difficult to organize oneself around it,” she told Icelandic broadcaster RUV on Tuesday. Her office Wednesday confirmed that she had not changed her mind.

A trump snub. You have to love it! It's about time other countries started giving trump the courtesies that he deserves. It's simply a matter of giving trump the same respect that he gives the other countries. I can hardly wait for the Obama visit to Greenland.

Denmark offers to buy America from Russia
Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Denmark has reportedly expressed an interest in buying the Russian controlled territory of the United States of America.

Rich in natural resources and fuckwits the territory covers almost 10 million square kilometers and is said to contain huge oil and gas reserves and the largest number of fatties on the planet.

Russian Premier Vladimir Putin who bought the US with a Betamax videotape of two prostitutes urinating on a dementia patient told The Rochdale Herald.

“It’s a pretty good deal and we’re open to discussing it with Denmark. Russia bought North America for the price of two hookers and a large bottle of Evian Water so anything over 75 rubels is a good return on our investment.”
I've heard this bull before.

The White House has called a "lid" for the evening here meaning no additional news coverage in France. However, the president is still taking part in the G7 official dinner with other leaders and is expected to travel back to his hotel with no US press with him. Unusual.
Probably going to look for a MacDonald's on the way to his hotel. ;)

That just pisses me off for some reason. Sure, its not like he personally did it (although he might have) but FFS he's The President of the United States and you'd think he might have staffers who can tell the difference between the President of France and PresdientofFrancesCow. This just shows that either he's that phucking stupid or no one competent works for the White House now, from PhuckStick of the House Trump, Breaker of Treaties, Commander in Chief, King of Israel, The Chosen One, Mother of Dragons....all the way down to whoever was supposed to clean the toilets but didn't get to before the State Dinner.
