Without them "Team Crazy" as they guy called it today, didn't get to defend their side of the story. Its like the mistake "Thick Kevin" made all over again, it froze out the bullshit arguments and only left the real world. Any mention of "Italian satellites" , 'Suitcases full of ballots" and "Dominion voting machines that flipped votes" are only referred to by sane people to point out how nuts those arguments were.

So Peter Navarro and Steven Bannon lost their chance to try to lend some legitimacy to the demons of a deranged mind.
Also, too, Jim Jordan's latest deadline passed by on, uh, June 11th (?) without him responding to his subpoena at all. One would hope he would be referred to the DOJ.

Please.

Conservative speak for established media, i.e., networks, cable, newspapers, radio, etc.
Interesting word. Sometimes you can get a read into their thinking by looking at the words they choose to use.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/legacy
Definition of legacy

1 : a gift by will especially of money or other personal property : bequest She left us a legacy of a million dollars.

2 : something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past:

3 : a candidate for membership in an organization (such as a school or fraternal order) who is given special status because of a familial relationship to a member
Yep, but in IT and other areas it means old stuff that we'll eventually get rid of because it's going to be useless and/or something no longer relevant. Which is what they're going for here.

If a cop was beating this woman and thousands of patriots were around, why didn't Our Heroes save her?

IIRC, her family admitted she had a drug problem so the autopsy results aren't surprising.

Narrating the documentary is Edward Jacob (“Jake”) Lang, a 27-year-old “J6” prisoner whose attorney, Steve Metcalf, is featured several times and contends his client and others are the recipients of unequal justice as compared to Black Lives Matter (BLM) and other activists’ destruction of private businesses, police cars, and public property as well as murder over the summer of 2020 following the death of George Floyd.
Could you imagine their outrage if they were treated like PoC/BLM? I do not recall the Jan 6th people being subjected things like rubber bullets to the face or being corralled into an underpass and gassed.

I also wonder what the overlap might be. They really obsess about how 'well' BLM was treated, but most of the people who were actually caught destroying property were either opportunistic looters of white surpremsests causing trouble. I wonder how many of the Jan6th people were also at BLM protests burning things down.

Virtually all the looters I saw on video appeared well after the main protests and were taking advantage of the situation.

Virtually all of the ones I saw were a lot closer to Proud Boys than anything like BLM (and since the 101st Airborne was deployed, ANTIFA wasn't available) .

Anyone remember the guy with the hammer walking past the Autozone and breaking every window as he went? Definitely a white guy, dressed like a Right Wing Militia of some color or another and I seem to recall some idea that he may have been a cop? For sure wasn't at the George Floyd protest because of George Floyd.

For some reason that is who I think of when they start crowing about the BLM protestors looting and damaging local business.

The police said (a) that 92% of BLM protests had no trouble at all, and (b) the majority of people arrested were Right wing agitators trying to cause trouble

https://apnews.com/article/virus-outbre ... d96c54f748

And its pretty easy to see how BLM guys were treated at the Capitol;

Image

I saw right wingers trying to claim this picture was the police at the Capitol on Jan 6th, but Everyone shouted them down for that bullshit.

The police also arrested more BLM at the Capitol that day than Jan 6th

FYI, update on MSNBC recaps. Maddow said they'd be doing this for every hearing during daytime, so viewers wouldn't miss anything. Panel tonight, Maddow Wallace, Chris Hayes, Laurence O'Donnell and Joy Reid. I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Just for reference (some of you may know this): looks like they are posting the daily hearings on the front page of the jan6 site:

And their archives are on their youtube channel:

I watched the hearings this morning and, unusually for me these days, left the TV on all day on CNN or MSNBC. But I also ended up watching the 8-10 PM MSNBC coverage. I think they did an excellent job and will skip the daytime TV on Wednesday.

Also watched for most of the day, and was revited. And also watched the MSNBC reaction coverage. Very good commentators. It all made me feel that the thing that I miss most about OldBow is the meticulous analysis of each of the 2019-2020 election contest cases. I followed each one as a retired lawyer with great interest. I'm glad that Ms. Lofgren and the J6 Committee are bringing them up again.

I couldn't watch live yesterday so I watched CSPAN's youtube post. I thoroughly enjoyed the Barr videos, the opportunistic mofo.

The others were interesting, but knowing he made trump's face turn from orange to bright red made me smile.

Thanks for the updates, everyone! For some unknown reason, my body doesn't have the mental or physical energy to watch this. Having it once removed and in print helps me keep up.

I am disgusted and outraged at the out right lie by Jason Miller and Bill Steppien. I was upset that they were not prepared for the massive cheating (as well as other lawyers around the President) I REFUSED all alcohol that evening. My favorite drink..Diet Pepsi

Both of these men were top aides on Rudy Giuliani's 2008 campaign. He now says they lied under oath -- maybe because they were paid, he alleges -- to the Jan. 6 committee when they said he was intoxicated at the White House on Election Night.

Giuliani appears bound and determined to keep this alcohol issue in the press. Methinks he doth protest too much. I mean, who cares if he was drunk or not? That's not really the issue. Did he get drunk and say stupid stuff? Maybe. But he says stupid stuff when he's not drunk too. It's really the stupid stuff that's the issue here, not the drunk.

Marge Greene claims that the J6 Committee is using a teleprompter during the hearing so they can keep their “lies” straight.

mtg *needs* a teleprompter to keep her lies straight, when she testified in April she couldn't even manage to keep her story straight from sentence to sentence.

Not that she (or those that vote for her) cares.
