One of the j6ers, not a rube IIRC, thought the Capitol was the White House. That floored me. Without internet or photos, just the occasional news on TV that I rarely watched, even I knew what the White House and Capitol look like.

In fairness, we set up a couple of cornhole boards at the U.S. Embassy in London on the weekend before Memorial Day just to do an Employee appreciation picnic-on-the-lawn before leaving for the weekend, and let me tell you, the drama, fun, and excitement were real because most of our local UK staff had *never played*. So one of my IT colleagues who loves the game was happily teaching it, and it became *cutthroat*.

One of the kindest, sweetest, local UK staffers is a woman I'll call X. She works in one of our internal management sections that isn't IT, but we've worked together on a project. I'm talking Disney Princess-level personality, where I'm surprised birds don't have to be stopped from flocking to her outstretched arms. But X became an absolute *menace* at the game. She took two passes to master it and then was trouncing everybody, even my colleague who taught her. Our Finance manager shares my weird sense of humor and I sometimes have to explain his contextual jokes to people on his behalf; he and I were shouting "she's a ringer! she's a ringer!" (we were joking, she wasn't) and then we had to explain to her what that meant, of course. One of the off-duty Marines joined in the fun. She demolished him and he would have been completely embarassed but X was so gracious that he walked off happy about it, like he helped her find her place in the universe. X is a complete legend now for something other than being Sweetest Person at the Embassy; I think she kind of likes being thought of as a shark, so that's nice.

So don't let anyone ever tell you that a game of cornhole can't be riveting. :fingerwag: Circumstances, circumstances.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,
As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Yikes. So not only is the fake firetruck dead with it's electrical system problem, but it needs new tires??! :o I hope they know they can't just drive over to Walmart and have a new set put on for a few hundred dollars. 8-)

LM K, any update on the Waaambulance? I haven't seen it in the camp --
Last I heard, the transmission was being shipped to somewhere to fix it.

I don't know where the fake ambulance is, though. I haven't seen it at camp.

I know it's foolish of me to expect rationality from these idiots but, purely as a matter of interest....what EXACTLY is the "Convoy of the Bewildered" protesting/demanding nowadays..?

This, IIRC, is what it was originally with a "mission statement" says,

“Americans love our freedoms and love the Constitution of The United States of America. This convoy aims to bring back our freedoms, our civil liberties, and bring an end to all unconstitutional mandates, The People’s Convoy is about rights and future generations' freedom. The organization is not about political parties, but more so about a government that has forgotten its place and has no regard for our founding fathers' instructions, The Constitution.”

The fake ambulance has been abandoned by the convoy. I don't know if its been abandoned by the owner. Thousands of dollars were raised to buy a new transmission for the fake ambulance.

I hope all this was worth it for the owner. She lived in the fake ambulance. I think it was her tiny house before this crap begin. All she did was drive it everywhere while blaring sirens. And occasionally block traffic so the convoy could run red lights.

They're so depressed that I haven't heard them scream FREEDUMB in weeks. Now they just sit around the camp fire farting while discussing the many ways that brave PATRIOTS like them have been wronged.

Bitching. Bitching is now the cause.

Ambulances by their very nature have a rough life on the roads. Not the best choice of engine, transmission and drive train for a RV conversion. Also too its best to have a mechanic look at it before taking it long miles cross country. I bet the purchase contract had something about demilitarization in it that would require the new owner to remove the emergency siren and lights.

It has been called "cornhole" here on the North Fork for years.

It is popular at wineries and breweries. Kids drinking soft drinks play it while their parents sip the adult beverages.

There are even leagues that compete in the evenings rather like bowling but outside.

Oh my!

The game was listed on the 1776's Amazon wishlist. It's an item that is critical to the salvation of FREEDUMB!

Why is a homophobic group playing a game called "cornhole"?
