They don't care what communism is. They know their base doesn't know and/or doesn't care. That's all that matters.

And don't forget the segregationist signs of the sixties, "race mixing is communism."

(CNN)Conservative Republican election attorney Ben Ginsberg will testify to the House January 6 investigative committee during its next public hearing on Monday, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

Ginsberg is expected to testify that there was no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, despite claims by former President Donald Trump and his supporters. He will also speak about the failed court cases filed by Trump's team.

Ginsberg is considered a leading Republican expert on election fraud and played a critical role in the Florida recount case when then-candidate George W. Bush defeated then-Vice President Al Gore.

Even before the election, Ginsberg was vocal about the weakness of the former President's claims. In a September 2020 essay, Ginsberg criticized the assertions as lacking evidence and "unsustainable."

It is "striking" that the Jan. 6 committee is "so interested" in the 'Proud Boys' CBS News'
@MacFarlaneNews
reports.

"It's clear this committee is going to draw some kind of line between the 'Proud Boys' and the organizers of the rally, potentially President Trump."

I sat down with
@Acosta
to talk about tomorrow's public hearing from the January 6 select committee. Here's a full breakdown of the five expected witnesses, and why they're important to the committee's goal of exposing and debunking Trump's election lies in 2020.

Did the committee ever get the winred data they were trying to get?

I know in the first hearing it was mentioned the Trump people ran ads but also its near certain the RNC was promoting the conspiracy theories to their email list.

A little less than twelve hots. Meanwhile...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Members of the House committee investigating the Capitol attack said Sunday they uncovered enough evidence for the Justice Department to consider an unprecedented criminal indictment against Donald Trump for seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

All hell breaks loose on Fox today when progressive talk show host Mike Crute, invited for a segment on gun control, riffs about J6: “The real bullshit is your network won’t cover it!” They went nuts. Enjoy!

Showtime! CNN is reporting Bill Stepian (sp?) testimony is delayed due to family emergency, wife in labor.

Also, Rep Luria was on New Day this morning. Asked about the pardon requests from members of Congress, she was adamant that they would not be making these claims unless they had solid backup to prove it. I believe the words she used were we have the receipts. Is it too early to speculate who they are and/or take a poll?
Edit: Scott MacFarlane
@MacFarlaneNews
FLASH: House Jan 6 Cmte hearing is delayed 30 minutes. Cmte: “Due to a family emergency, Mr. William Stepien is unable to testify before the Select Committee this morning. His counsel will appear and make a statement on the record”

LOFGREN notes that the Trump campaign raised "hundreds of millions" of dollars form supporters who thought they were contributing to Trump's legal fight.

"The Trump campaign didn’t use the money for that. The Big Lie was also a big ripoff.”

A lot of testimony from Barr talking about how bad the trump election fraud claims were saying:
Bullshit
Crazy
Detached from reality

Barr talks about a supposed report given to trump that Barr perused and said was completely amateurish filled with claims that aren't supported.

Barr says he's saw the 2000 mules movie and he was completely unimpressed with it. Says the cell phone data was unimpressive. He says the "photographic evidence" in it was completely lacking. It didn't establish widespread illegal harvesting. He also says that even if you could show harvesting it doesn't show enough to overthrow the election and that there's still burden on the accusers to show the ballots are illegal.
