Not sure I agree that he didn't seem hostile. He certainly did the very minimum IMHO and kind of stiffed Thompson so much so that Thompson had to clean it up after the fact. Of course his footage spoke for itself but I felt that Thompson was expecting something he didn't get. I thought that was the low point of the evening.

I'm not so sure nothing new came out, maybe it was more that things we knew/suspected were confirmed, but how much more do they need to come out before they acknowledge how serious it was? Holding Pelosi at knife point? Placing the noose around Pence's neck? I've been paying close attention all along so I knew what to expect, yet I was still horrified by the video and texts.

Just to close this circle, Short was a big dud. He didn’t want to say anything and just tried to downplay the situation. To his credit, Brett Baier did try to nail him down a couple times. Ex. What did you think what you heard the crowd chanting “hang Mike Pence” Ans. We were really more focused on completing the business we were there to do. Q. What did you think when you heard tfg said “maybe Mike Pence SHOULD hang”, A. By the time it got to us, it was second or third hand information, so we really focused more on completing the business we were there to do.
