WASHINGTON — A British documentary filmmaker who followed the Proud Boys as the Capitol riot unfolded will appear as a key witness when the House committee investigating Jan. 6 holds its first public hearing Thursday, NBC News has confirmed.

A source familiar with the matter said Nick Quested, owner of Goldcrest Films, will deliver testimony during the panel's primetime hearing. The House committee is promising to reveal stunning new details about the attack when the first of at least a half-dozen hearings kick off this week.

The New York Times first reported Quested's planned appearance.

The Jan. 6 committee did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I saw Watkins the junior whining about his dear old dad testifying before the Jan. 6th Committee on Telegram, but I couldn't verify so I didn't bother posting. Guess it did happen. You will recall that the Watkins are in all likelihood, Q.
QAnon Influencer Jim Watkins Says He Was ‘Interrogated’ by the Jan. 6 Committee
“You expect me to come here by a subpoena to rat out the President of the United States,” Jim Watkins wrote in a letter to the committee. “I will not be your Rasputin.”
:snippity:
Watkins provided his testimony remotely from his lawyer’s office in Chicago, according to a video posted to his Telegram channel on Monday morning.

Watkins didn’t reveal what he spoke to the committee about, claiming in the livestream it was “secret” and comparing his testimony to that given to a grand jury. Watkins complained that his testimony should not have been secret.

“I didn’t talk to one Congressman,” Watkins told the Night Owl News show broadcast on a conspiracy-filled platform called the Tiger Network. “There were prosecutors interrogating me for six hours, this was a six-hour interrogation.”

Watkins told the show’s host, Dee Stevens, that he was not allowed to speak about what he had discussed with the committee, though he did read out a letter he sent to the committee’s chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson, which he said gave some indication of the topics covered during his questioning.

A tweet was posted here some place in the last day or so that he would be there, front row. I remember it specifically because the tweet used a photo of him and he's so good looking it stuck in my mind.

Raisin previewed a podcast for us a couple of days ago called “Will Be Wild”.

It’s well worth listening to. Fanone is interviewed. Poor guy. He’s a changed man. He’s becoming what he would have described before J6 as ‘woke’ and now calls ‘empathetic’ or enlightened as to others’ rights to their own viewpoints.

Yeah, he said he was somewhat ‘tribal’ before that.
