I saw trump responded with "nobody will come close to beating me in 2020," or something very close to that. I wonder if Putin promised him he'd take care of it.

Just starting to read.

Wow. From a senior Trump official:

"Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment ... But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis."
In my opinion, failure to invoke the 25th Amendment is more likely to ultimately precipitate a constitutional crisis.

The lady doth protest too much! Perhaps we have found the author.

Is he planning on falling on his own sword? Whoever wrote this must expect to be found out in relatively short time.

No. He's salvaging his reputation for the future. Imagine being as smart and holier than than as Kelly thinks he is/is and having to stomach that steaming piece of brain-dead shit every day. It lowers his (Kelly's) sense of pride to have to pretend he (Kelly) respects him.

You can pick up on the same god-complex that Comey has. I am so very smart and protecting all of you because I am so honorable. Only if you look closely enough, you notice that both of them are doing something repulsive and destructive: Comey in attacking HRC, and Kelly in working for the SPOBDS. Both men think this is a noble act. Neither is right.

Yeah, I think you're right. It's not a selfless act.

p0rtia explains it well.

Plus, it would add another layer of insanity - the Chief of Staff? And the President of the United States of America is tweeting that writing it is treason? And Kelly was supposed to be the grownup in the room? Wouldn't he have a ton more credibility, even today, than anyone else in the White House?

I assume it can't possibly be Jared or Stephen Miller or Bolton or anyone else at that level. And it's a disappointment if it's some Jimmy Down the Hall, a bottom-feeding suckerfish.

It would just be so rich in irony and betrayal and weirdness. If you have a better candidate, please tell us why.

Based on the last few words of the tweet, “...even in his own family.” could it be Javanka?

It took him almost two hours to come up with a follow up to that tweet.

I'm voting for Melania :bag:

We need a poll.

Now this:

Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!
He really does think he's the king, doesn't he?

I don't think so. Javanka would not use the direct, dismissive, and angry language the op-ed uses.

Who but Kelly would say "one way or another"*? There's your short list.

*Or was it "one way or the other"? Didn't check. On antibiotics and feeling sorry for self. Wah.
