On MSNBC just now, Avenatti said something that might just make his otherwise overstay of a welcome worth it.
He called gave Rudy Gullianni a good nickname, "Dazed and Confused". I like it.

I thought Avenatti never met a TV camera he didn't like?

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-p ... story.html

The whole article has more detail about an unpaid $10,000,000 :blackeye: judgement in favor of a former employee and $880,000 :eek2: in unpaid payroll taxes.*

Avenatti also wants transcript sealed. No decision on that.
Michael Avenatti gets judge to bar media from his testimony on Newport Beach law firm's bankruptcy

After months of demanding transparency from President Trump on his alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti convinced a federal judge on Wednesday to block the news media from covering his testimony about his law firm’s bankruptcy.

Eagan Avenatti, his Newport Beach firm, has defaulted on millions of dollars in debt and fallen years behind in paying its payroll taxes.

Avenatti, the firm’s managing partner and majority owner, was subpoenaed by former firm employee Jason Frank to testify Wednesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana. Frank is trying to collect on a $10-million judgment he won against the firm.

At Avenatti’s request, Judge Catherine Bauer let him testify Wednesday morning in secret. Avenatti argued that his firm’s finances and its client roster should not be exposed despite a voluminous public case file that already chronicles its troubles in great detail.

“They want to embarrass me,” Avenatti said of Frank and unnamed others.
*Back in the good old days, employers went to federal prison for not paying the payroll taxes they withheld from their employee's checks. Is that not the case anymore?

Whatever happened to Avenatti's shiny object? The families displaced by Trump's family separation policies? I suspect they were dumped more quickly than an Orly Taitz "plaintiff" when opposing counsel called to the court's attention that Taitz was practicing law in a particular jurisdiction without a license.

Hard to know where to put things with all the overlapping threads, but Avenatti has announced he represents 3 more women who Trump/Cohen tried to buy their silence and one of them was pregnant (although, perhaps intentionally, exactly when and how she was pregnant was left ambiguous).

This was planned all along, at one point he said there were 7 or more and they were checking out the stories. Not a shock at all, there were tons of payments. The publicity machine rolls on.

If AMI paid, then there are definitely paper trails. I sense another subpoena from Meuller, et al, to Mr. Pecker (assuming that they don't already have all of AMI's and Pecker's financial records.

And, if true, the response from the religious right will be something to the effect of, "well, we already gave him a mulligan, and that covered all of his infidelities and related matters (unless it was gay sex)."

Michael Avenatti Urges Democrats to Reject Michelle Obama’s Advice on Trump
CLEAR LAKE, Iowa — Michael Avenatti, fresh off his declaration that he may run for president in 2020, used his first big speech as a prospective candidate to call on the Democratic Party to reject Michelle Obama’s oft-quoted advice about President Trump and his allies: “When they go low, we go high.”

Mr. Avenatti, the hard-charging lawyer who represents the pornographic film star Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, did not once mention the former first lady in his keynote speech Friday night at the Democratic Wing Ding, a party fund-raiser in northern Iowa. But there was no mistaking his meaning.

“We must be a party that fights fire with fire,” Mr. Avenatti said to cheers from the audience, his voice rising. “When they go low, I say hit back harder.”

He received a thunderous ovation at the end of his speech, notably louder than the applause for the night’s other speakers, including Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio as well as Representative John Delaney of Maryland, who is running for president.

Avenatti was in Clear Lake? He should have motored over to Britt, 30 miles west. Britt is the home of the Hobo Museum. It's too bad that Buddy Holly's pilot wasn't around.

There are eleventy-thousand and eight legitimate reasons that Avenatti shouldn't be elected to any national office right now. Tucker managed to find an illegitimate one. That takes some real skill.

Tucker is a whiny hypocrite bitch, can't stand him. Good that Avenatti took him on and threw it back at him. Fox News viewers accidentally heard a lot of truth, that's good.

Somebody on the twitter machine rightly asked, if Avenatti is creepy for repping a porn star, what does that make the guy who had unprotected sex with said star while his bride and newborn son were at home?
