I see some comments there she's not holding the gun properly, but I'm no gun expert to know any better.
It’s been nigh on 30+ years since I used to shoot skeet/trap, and I don’t ever remember a range that looked like that.

I am not "someone upthread".

Having lots of money and enough local power to keep the police away opens up all sorts of options...

In Arkansas, your "range" can just as easily be out your back door as some actual place you have to go to. We have several places around here to go 'plinking' that are inside the city limits, not including all the private property of people who live on acreage. Unless you actually point and aim at a person, or shoot into a house or car, there's not much the cops can or will do to you.

She's apparently not using eye protection. She could be using ear plugs, but she's obviously not wearing headphone type ear protection either.

So, she's saying she learned to bake pies and resist unwelcome advances from dirty old men running for office?

Sarah Huckabee Sanders kills irony dead, once and for all
By Aaron Blake January 4 at 4:22 PM

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says the tell-all book by Michael Wolff is "complete fantasy." (Reuters)

For the second straight day Thursday, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders fought back against Michael Wolff's Trump tell-all. And in doing do, she may have finally killed off what's left of irony in the White House briefing room.

“The president,” Sanders told reporters, “believes in making sure that information is accurate before pushing it out as fact, when it certainly and clearly is not.”

Yes, we all know what a stickler Trump is for making sure what he says is accurate before he says it. It may be his defining trait.

In all seriousness, it's not just the nearly 2,000 false and misleading things Trump has said as president. It's that the White House and Trump himself have acknowledged that Sanders's standard doesn't really apply to them.

Pretty sure she'd take out a collar bone (if not a cheek bone) shooting it like that.
Ouch. I think you are correct.

Remember when the RWNJ all made fun of Obama shooting a shotgun?

At the WH press briefing today Ms Sanders is having to , shall we say, clarify Trump's positions following the weekend Trump Twitter storm.

We sit on the porch and shoot skeet off the hill out front, or cans off the fence by the horse field, not that we have any horses.

I’ve never seen one like that either. It “could” be a trap range but at least what is visible is a really strange-looking one.

In addition, if you look in the direction her barrel is pointing you’ll see what appears to be one of the houses for a skeet range. If so, and if this is indeed a trap range she’s standing on, she (and presumably everyone else) is firing toward the skeet range. Pretty scary.

And I do have a lot of experience in trap and skeet, plus two daughters who were champion trap (both in American and one in international) and both in American skeet, and I can assure you if she fired that weapon from that stance and hold it could, and likely would, hurt and perhaps a lot, in several places.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders clarifies: Trump said lots of stuff this week he may not mean
http://
wapo.st/2GWFVV8

11:01 AM - Mar 2, 2018
In a brief gaggle, Sanders elaborated on where Trump stands on guns and tariffs and insisted Trump hadn't backed off his words on the former. But her comments bore little resemblance to what Trump had said in recent days. And it was difficult not to view it all as a walkback inspired by Trump's Thursday night meeting with NRA officials and the backlash against his tariff comments.

They're both PR flacks whose main talent is to look silly, they both have impeccable fashion sense, and the faces look strangely familiar. Could Sarah be...related maybe?

There is much to criticize about Sanders; we should be better than discussing her weight.

I wasn't thinking of her weight at all, she just, for reasons I can't put my finger on, physically reminds me of livestock. Its something about her mouth when she talks.

Otherwise, its kind of an insult to the cow.

Yeah, there's a certain vapid, cud-chewing bovinity to her face. Her father and brothers have it too. Also.

The only thing Sanders reminds me of in relation to cattle is that I hear bullshit whenever her gums are flapping.

It is the eyes. The big dark brown iris with less than normal amount of white.
