OK, late to the party (again), I deleted Gen. Kelly and Gen. Mattis from the poll, which resets it (again).

I have two open slots. Suggestions?

I kinda think Rosenstein should be deleted as well, because he said he's going to leave once Barr transitions in.

As for additions:
* Mick Mulvaney
* Dan Coats
* Wilbur Ross

Dan Coats speaking out loud and clearly what dotus did not like to hear: that his N.Korea political approach is failing!

“I’m hearing from sources around the white house that there’s just general disappointment of the president with Director Coats. There’s a feeling that maybe there needs to be a change of leadership in that position. I don’t know what his plan is, he doesn’t tell me who he’s gonna dismiss or not, I have talked to various people, not him who are very close in the White House with the security positions the president is taking.”

During his session in front of Congress last month, Coat said he believes it is unlikely that Trump’s policies will lead to North Korea “completely give up its nuclear weapons and production capabilities,” which Ruddy called “very bad form.”

The repeated firings, compounded by subsequent accusations and disparaging tweets, are becoming so conspicuous that I expect that very few real professionals will seek or consent to appointments by Trump, and he'll be left with a bunch of semi-desperate semi-talented sycophants. This is starting to resemble the darkest days of Tsar Ivan the Terrible.

Pentagon chief briefing irks lawmakers, draws expletives from Sen. Lindsey Graham
The episode highlighted Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan's increasingly strained relationship with Capitol Hill two months after he replaced Jim Mattis.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congre ... am-n973401
The briefing turned heated as Graham, a South Carolina Republican, pressed Shanahan about the president's decision to withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria, according to the five officials.

Shanahan tried to ease the concerns of the group of senators and House members by stressing that the military will keep troops in the region and will be prepared to combat a possible ISIS resurgence after the drawdown's scheduled completion by the end of April, the five officials said.

But Shanahan's talking-points approach to the briefing only frustrated the lawmakers, prompting Graham to unleash expletives in a sharp exchange with Shanahan, according to the officials.

Tensions escalated after Graham pointedly asked Shanahan for his opinion on Trump's decision to leave Syria, and the acting secretary refused to condemn it. Raising his voice, Graham finally told Shanahan he should consider him "an adversary," according to the officials.
Shanahan might have a difficult time getting confirmed if Trump appoints him to be Defense secretary.

TPM says Whitaker is out. The story doesn't even hint at a reason. Seems odd, Trump doesn't seem to dislike him and I don't think Mueller has got around to investigating him yet.

Simples. He failed Der Trumpenführer. When the poppet was no longer of use as a poppet, he was no longer of use. Doesn't mean it'll protect him, Congress can still call him and examine him, and probably will.

Just daydreaming but, what are the possibilities Whittaker, then Barr, took a look at what Mueller and the SDNY have on the trump crime family and thought, "This isn't worth going to prison for."
