IKR? And how many of those best selling books did he actually write?

The Washington Post is constantly quoting “anonymous sources” that do not exist. Rarely do they use the name of anyone because there is no one to give them the kind of negative quote that they are looking for. They are a disgrace to journalism but then again, so are many others!
Do we know yet what WAPO article stirred him up?

One reporting Jeff Bezos' net worth? Just kidding. Donnie couldn't comprehend that many numbers. He'd run out of fingers and toes.

"anonymous sources" from Washington Post means Mercedes Schlapp, "anonymous sources" from NY Times means Sarah H Sanders.

Another one of those tweets that sure seem staff-written.
Regardless: President Trump didn’t write any of his books. Ghostwriters on all of them.

The poor President of the United States, pouring out the insecurities that drip from his every pore. And mis using the homonym for the word he actually should have used when he was bragging about how well his ghostwriters wrote books in his name.

Is it rude to point out the dangling modifier?

What was the significance of July 4 1776?
On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States. Each year on July 4th, also known as Independence Day, Americans celebrate this historic event.

Trump appears to have relied on a dubious Fox News story to attack Obama this a.m. The Fox story cited an Iranian news agency that cited an Iranian newspaper that quoted a single Iranian cleric. Obama officials say the cleric’s claim is false. My story: http://money.cnn.com/2018/07/03/media/f ... index.html

The OPEC Monopoly must remember that gas prices are up & they are doing little to help. If anything, they are driving prices higher as the United States defends many of their members for very little $’s. This must be a two way street. REDUCE PRICING NOW!

Yeah, and higher gas prices at the pump are not going to help the Republicans in the midterms.

I do not understand this stuff. OPEC, oil, etc.
The US is pumping out more oil than 12 of 14 OPEC members.

US oil exports hit 3 million barrels per day for the first time.
The previous high was 2.5 million barrels per day in May.
The US is pumping out more oil than 12 of 14 OPEC members.

Two and a half years after the U.S. removed export restrictions on its crude oil, its exports hit 3 million bpd—the latest all-time high set in recent months.

The volume of U.S. exports last week was higher than the individual country exports of 12 out of 14 OPEC members. Only Saudi Arabia and Iraq export more than 3 million bpd of crude oil to international markets.

The U.S. exports were also higher than the crude oil production of all but three OPEC members—Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran.

The rise in U.S. exports and the inevitable comparison with OPEC nations' exports highlights the growing importance of U.S. oil on the international market. <SNIP>

Dear Donald, China will pay the price for this oil if the US market does not take the stuff at their price. Forget tariffs and get cuddly with Xi and share a chocolate cake again, then prices may drop :blackeye:

I suspect that US petroleum production exceeded that of all of today’s producers until about 1945, when we started to import oil at a fairly good clip. Neither Saudi Arabia nor Iraq were major producers at that time. It probably took both longer than 1945 to catch up. American, British, and French technical experts/colonial powers were crucial to getting their petroleum industry going. That oil was a major reason for Germany’s interest in the Arabian Peninsula and Mesopotamia.

Getty Oil, which I think the relevant subsidiary of was British, played an important part in the building of the Saudi oil industry, and during the Arab Oil Embargo was one of the few western companies that was allowed to take oil from Saudi Arabia.

Isn't the most Trumpish next step for him to claim that US oil companies are run by filthy Democrats and demand that they reduce the price of domestically produced oil to domestic consumers? He could also enforce this edict with a tariff on oil exported from the US which would deter them from profiting from high international prices at the expense of US citizens and US companies.

There! Problem solved Trump-style! Throw in an explanation of ehy it's Obama's fault and it's a complete policy position.

It's an idiotic enough idea that Trump might just try it...

Congress must pass smart, fast and reasonable Immigration Laws now. Law Enforcement at the Border is doing a great job, but the laws they are forced to work with are insane. When people, with or without children, enter our Country, they must be told to leave without our........

.....Country being forced to endure a long and costly trial. Tell the people “OUT,” and they must leave, just as they would if they were standing on your front lawn. Hiring thousands of “judges” does not work and is not acceptable - only Country in the World that does this!
