Actually it was 52 F-35 fighters. The first of those were delivered during the Obama administration. So Norway says "Thanks Obama!". ;)

Jimmy Kimmel's New Donald Trump Documentary: 'Pants On Fire: The Road To 2,000 Lies'

Jimmy Kimmel marked President Donald Trump’s 2,000th lie in office on Wednesday night.

After The Washington Post highlighted Trump’s major milestone earlier in the day, the late-night host observed the occasion with the release of his spoof mini-documentary entitled “Pants Of Fire: The Road To 2,000 Lies.”

“His place in the fake history books is forever secure thanks to his total lack of shame,” the voiceover says of the president.

Check out the full documentary above.

On Pres. Trump's upcoming trip to Davos, an elite gathering of business and political figures, Treasury Sec. Mnuchin says, "I don't think it's a hangout for globalists," adding "the economy that's good for the U.S. is good for the rest of the world." http://abcn.ws/2FqX8pV
Seriously? If you read up about Davos you will find the word "global" endlessly repeated. Some Davos efforts and subgroups-

The Community of Global Shapers
Forum of Young Global Leaders
Global Health Initiative
Global Gender Gap Report
Global Enabling Trade Report
Global Information Technology Report
Global Risks Report
The Global Education Initiative

The actual name of the Davos organization is the World Economic Forum. That's "world" as in the globe.

Davos is THE hangout for elite globalists.

When the USA was getting a lot of Norwegian immigrants in the 19th century (including one of my grandmothers) Norway was a "shithole" country. That is why so many Norwegians left. You don't get mass emigration out of countries where everything is just dandy.

In 1800 Norway's population was about 880,000. In 1900 Norway's population was about 2,200,000. Between 1825 and 1925 about 800,000 Norwegians emigrated to North America. That was roughly a third of the population. Only Ireland sent a greater percentage of its people to America. (Ireland was also a pretty poor place to be in the 19th century.)

Trump doesn't get it. When times are tough it is the best and the brightest who seek to escape to a better place where they can work, own property, get educations and improve their lot in life.

Yeah, because when his mother moved to the US from Scotland, Scotland was the envy of the world.

And when Melania moved here from Slovenia, Slovenia was the bestest country ever.

For someone who has a lot of experience with immigration in his immediate family, Trump is just an idiot.

Actually you can scratch the first part of that sentence and it's still true.

I'm guessing there aren't a whole lot of Norwegians interested in immigrating to the USA right now.

And he’s too ignorant to be aware that many of those countries are the crippled remnants of a ruthless, destructive colonialist capitalism, where European greed overpopulated them in the course of plundering their resources.

Trump, and many like him, believe that Europeans came to this country to find work and make America great. Anyone else - blacks, Latinos, Muslims - come for welfare, to commit crimes, or to steal the jobs of hard working white folks. Because white folks are honest and great and non-white folks are lazy scum.

Now now, the Irish called the emigration ships "Coffin Ships" ironically, because they were so comfy and wonderful.

You left out Jews and the quota system that was in place for emigration.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigrati ... 24#Results
The new quotas for immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe, and the bar on the "Asia-Pacific Triangle", were so restrictive that in 1924 more Italians, Czechs, Yugoslavs, Greeks, Lithuanians, Hungarians, Portuguese, Romanians, Spaniards, Polish and Russian Jews, Chinese, and Japanese left the United States than arrived as immigrants.[25]

The quotas remained in place with minor alterations until the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.
