Will every coastal state governor be accorded the same courtesy?

Dem lawmaker crashes White House immigration meeting
By HEATHER CAYGLE and SEUNG MIN KIM 01/09/2018 11:16 AM EST Updated 01/09/2018 02:07 PM EST

Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, leader of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, successfully crashed Tuesday’s bipartisan immigration meeting with President Donald Trump, forcing her way in after White House officials refused to invite her.

Lujan Grisham rode with House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), who was invited to the 11:30 a.m. meeting, with hopes that the White House wouldn't be able to deny her face-to-face, according to two sources with knowledge of the plan. Her idea worked, as she was later caught by TV cameras sitting at the oblong table with roughly two dozen other lawmakers for the lengthy confab.

The New Mexico Democrat was one of a handful of notable names left off the White House’s invitation list, leading top Democrats to downplay the huddle as little more than a Republican-led photo op.

Lujan Grisham, who is running for governor in 2018, joked ahead of the meeting that given her petite size — she is one of the shortest members of Congress — it should be easy to sneak her onto the White House grounds.

Trump also said in his first comments on Fire and Fury that libel laws were a problem for him:
President says that if legislation on libel was stronger 'you wouldn’t have things like that happen where you can say whatever comes into your head'
Donald Trump suggests he wants US law to limit free speech in wake of publication of explosive new book

In conjunction with his new statement on the [ahem, state] libel laws, isn't this an admission that he doesn't have a cause of action against Michael Wolff and the publisher?

What about saying out and out that someone faked a birth certificate to qualify to run for president? Would that fall under his dream libel law? Asking for a friend.

Or worse. Does Trump believe he's the lead in a new show, with everyone else the cast? "Apprentice: The White House."

It was first noticed back in August of 2017. Apparently he's doing it more often now. Now I'm really curious.

I supose all the hand waving he does could have been masking the early signs of it. But I really don't know.
