Wondering why the jacket wasnt lengthened to match the vest, which obviously was altered in an attempt to hide his belly.

And by lengthened I mean replaced with a longer one.

He certainly doesn’t look happy or relaxed in that picture. Wonder what he’s thinking about.

By the way (I had to look this up because I'm not a fashion person) the dress for the state dinner was "white tie" or "white tie and tails." It's the most formal evening style of dress for men, more formal than just a tuxedo. Wikipedia has an article on it - White Tie.

In addition to all of that - where is his American Flag Pin?

I'm watching the so-called news conference. As usual, OSG is bumbling on about negative talk. He didn't see no negative protesters. Well very few negative protesters. Fake news, you know. Just ask him. What an arse.

This comparison also shows how small Trump’s hands are compared to Obama’s.

Just my arrogant opinion, but I think he wears lifts and they throw his posture forward, hence all the photos of him standing at odd angles. I don't know if his back prevents him from arching himself upright, like a woman in high heels, but they must be extra lifty to affect his posture that much.

Edited to add: trump may have been 6', 1", or close to 6', 2" at one time (I don't think he was ever 6', 3" despite his newest claim) and we all shrink as we age, some more than others. I doubt trump's consumed a glass of milk in his entire life. At this point, he's probably barely clearing 6 feet.

Also, my thoughts on the odd body habitus exhibited in his tux - I think he was wearing a girdle, which was too small to stay around his gut so it slid below it, emphasizing it all the more.

Thread:
Good morning! If you're just waking up in the US, here's what President Trump said overnight about why he wouldn't have wanted to serve in Vietnam: "Well, I was never a fan of that war. I’ll be honest with you. I thought it was a terrible war, I thought it was very far away..."

He thinks he's making up for it because "he" is giving billions to the military. I'm sure there are countless mothers, brothers, fathers, sisters and wives who wish they could have their son or daughter back in exchange for giving someone else's money to the military.

Well, whatever. If he skipped out on Vietnam because he didn't agree with that war and his daddy backed him up with a fake bone spurs excuse. He gets no points. I still have elderly family members who served who will not talk about their service in Vietnam, yet sometimes still wake in cold sweats screaming. Trump gets no sympathy for dodging the draft from me.
