I think I am missing something.

Outside the speed/zoom, I am not seeing what is doctored about it.

(ah, never mind, later there is a tweet outlining how the video was changed)

I don't think that it's doctored, but I didn't hear any audio. Acosta was holding the mic in one hand and motioning in the other hand. I don't think he actually expected the intern to forcibly reach in and try to pry the mic from his hand while he was still asking a question. He did not deliberately hit her arm, she thrust her arm in the way of his arm which was already moving, and in the version with the audio he clearly says "excuse me, ma'am". His touching her arm was inadvertent and not done maliciously, but her trying to grab the mic while he was talking was pretty disrespectful, IMO.

Edit: I think maybe the "doctored" part was where the video is repeating a small portion over and over and over and it gives a bad impression. There is an actual video showing in real time and it's clear that she crossed him unexpectedly and that was the cause of his touching her. Again, he said "excuse me" which is quite funny because she was the one who should have apologized in fact.

Yeah, and I don't think that's a bad thing. Cut off his air.

No reporting of any thing he says. If he signs something into law, no video, just report what the new law is. No coverage of rallies. No reporting anything Sarah Sanders says.

Start a news broadcast with "The president told a lot more lies today, but here's what really happened."

Stand and fight. Otherwise you will see them banned one-by-one until only Fox, InfoWars, and Gateway Pundit are left.

The “Intern” is anything but.

Madeline Westerhout, 27 years old,Executive Assistant to POTUS, $130,000 salary. Mentioned as gatekeeper to Trump (remember when Trump asked Woodward if he tried to schedule an appointment thru Madeline)

That would be great, but it creates a variation on The Prisoner's Dilemma: collective action would be best but hard to achieve when each actor is concerned the "other guy" will try to get an advantage by acting alone. If you worry the other media outlet will get a ratings advantage that day by covering the presser, then you show up "just in case." The result is most everyone shows up.

Here's a great video of what really happened between Acosta and Westerhout, showing the three times that she deliberately touched him and the last time that she puts' her arm in his way and he touches her because of her actions.
Sorry, Twitter is the only place I can find the video. It's slowed down so you can clearly see her actions, but it's not distorted by repetitive playing of any of her or his actions.

1/ Some observations on the Jim Acosta situation: I watched the exchange just moments after it happened, then sent out a tweet saying the woman who tried to get his microphone should be lose her job. Swiftly, I was hit with a bot-driven response.

Are we sure that's Madeline and not Lindsay Walters? Deputy Press Secretary. According to salaries from when Sarah was deputy press secretary. Sarah's old pay was 165k a year.

I see what you mean. To me the person who accosted Acosta (see what I did there? :bag: ) looks more like Lindsay Walters.

To me the whole outrage over her being ''an unpaid intern'' is just as deceitful as the lie that he put his hands on her, or the release of a doctored video. Last night when I saw it, Brian Williams kind of made an apology to her, saying she was just doing her job...did he know she was hardly an unpaid intern?

Right?
I use the argument incredibly often because I think that since they seem to be drawn to emotional outrage, that the indignity of being lied to and mislead like ignorant sheep would offend them... But, alas, I can't cast that spell. Or, the sense of "team" and trust of authority neutralizes any potential outrage.
