Ive hated Hannity ever since I heard outtakes of him during the Terri Shiavo circus. He was standing around getting man-on-the-street interviews and also hitting up pretty ladies, which is just so ghoulish to be doing at the same time.

There were two young ladies he chatted up on the outtakes. Both of them were giggly and flattered to be asked, but confided to him that they thought people should leave the poor woman alone. Hannity said, “Oh, me, too, but you know, this is for entertainment and right now, we’re looking for people who agree she should be kept alive. Here, you can put it like this:...” and then he coached her into being outraged about the position she had just told him she held. To her discredit, she went along with it. Her friend didn’t.

Hannity is a kiss-ass liar, the worst kind. I hope this next week is absolute hell for him. :lovestruck:

Spokesman for Sean said there is no 3rd party. Just used Cohen for legal advice.

On the other hand. He never disclosed that Cohen was his lawyer while he ran shows bitching about Mueller over reach with Cohen investigation.

Hmm. What will Fox “News” do about this ethical lapse?

Is Dan Bongino gonna get his own show? Toni Lehrer?

Adam Klasfeld

@KlasfeldReports

There's been a lot of talk about the Lynne Stewart case, but Hendon distinguishes her process from that case.

Instead of a special master, Hendon proposes Cohen and Trump's legal teams assert privilege for review and take it to the gov't. If gov't objects, it goes to Wood.

To the litigators, is there any authority for a client to review first? I would suspect now, but I took Professional Responsibility pass/fail (yes, I passed).

Hendon also objects to a third-party special master. "We do not think a special master will adequately protect the privilege for the president."

Cannot the judge just appoint the FBI Taint Team as the Special Master?

I think that just killed it for Hendon - impugning the integrity of a special master is, IMHO, not going to get you points with the Judge.

IANAL, but that doesn't sound like Hannity was using Cohen as a lawyer.

Replying to @KlasfeldReports
Hendon claims that would protect Trump's privilege while being more efficient than the Stewart process, which, again, took roughly 15 months to complete.

McKay's back up now.

Adam Klasfeld

@KlasfeldReports

McKay says that the filter team, sometimes described as the taint team, would consult with Trump's attorneys in either event.

"Where Mr. Cohen is clearly under criminal investigation, he is going to have even more incentive" to "drag things down" with assertions of privilege.

Adam Klasfeld

@KlasfeldReports

McKay on Trump: "He's a busy man."

"Defense counsel is not going to agree with privilege determinations without consulting with her client," he notes.

It's more efficient, he argues, for USAO to give him potentially privileged documents for him to review than vice versa.

Hoping these aren't duplicates. I quickly scanned through about 4 pages and didn't see them.

Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.

Here's all the times Sean Hannity defended Michael Cohen without revealing he was Trump lawyer’s client

So Cohen says Secret Client #3 objects to the revelation of even his name, and should vigorously appeal any such order requiring Cohen to reveal it. And it turns out Secret Client #3 says he was never a client?
