Have the Q nuts figured out who Donald Trump revealed yet? Or are they still parsing it out?

My parents would hang their heads in shame! :bag:

Dad had some Dukes of Dixieland albums and would play along with his trombone.
With one of the original Assuntos or one of the newer guys when the band reformed?

My dad was a dj in the 50s when they got to keep all the albums the recording companies sent them for promos. I have zero musical talent myself but have been immersed in music my whole life.

I do miss the days of well crafted and and intelligent statements, like when George W. Bush would speak off the cuff.

Was Bush even invited? Oh, well, my fears of Kristallnacht proved groundless. Just 2.5 mil down the storm drain.
That's what they admit to, I'd bet it was at least $12 million.

Well, all I know is that I can now put Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's comment that [Trump's] "A Fucking Moron" into context.

Tillerson's comment obviously was said after a July 2017 Pentagon meeting where Trump argle bargled “Our [Continental] Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over airports, it did everything it had to do. And at Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, had nothing but victory.”

Was GWB invited? Possibly. But I hear he was washing his hair that day.
Or he wasn't invited .. because Trump wouldn't want to be upstaged.

And on the cost, I agree with Gregg. The $2.5 million seizure from the parks was a partial offset. It was much more than that. Could have purchased a lot of soap and toothpaste for that money.

I am not sure. Likely the original. He had those albums in the 50's and 60's. I loved them!

What is wrong with Teleprompters? For more than 30 years, whenever a politician says something brainless, the explanation is that the Teleprompter was on the fritz. There were a few times when the speaker (once or twice it was Bill Clinton) managed to finished a speech satisfactorily but acknowledged that the Teleprompter had died or had shown the wrong speech, so he had to rely on his memory of rehearsing the speech. (Evidently Trump doesn't rehearse.)

Anyway, so many stories of Teleprompters going sour, and I wonder why anybody still uses them. By now there ought to be a competitor product that's more reliable.

I think teleprompters failing is like people hitting the gas instead of the brake or shooting themselves cleaning their guns, just a bullshit lie to cover for screwing up.

Trump will probably say, "this guy has no talent." Ya only the lead singer of one of the most legendary bands of all time.

Oh did you guys know, that after the Brits cut our satellite link, George Washington sent F-22s to attack the British fleet. We used the Hubble Telescope to keep tabs on King Arthur, you know King of the Britons. He sent Brave sir Robin to attack the Colonialist at Yorktown, but he was held back by the knights that say "Ni." George Washington single handily defeated the Nazis and Soviets at once.

Trump's 'Salute to America' cost more than $5M: report
BY ZACK BUDRYK - 07/10/19 10:18 PM EDT

The Fourth of July “Salute to America” event cost Washington, D.C., and the federal government more than $5 million, according to ABC News.

That figure included $2.45 million the Interior Department and National Park Service spent on expenses such as barricades, medical services, staffing and other logistics, according to ABC News, citing an Interior Department letter.

The District of Columbia and Defense Department, meanwhile, reported event and security costs of $1.7 million and $1.2 million, respectively, for a total cost of $5.35 million, according to ABC News.
