 and  After all the ass kissing he's had this week I'm glad that someone found a way to put him in his place. He looked as if he noticed. :rotflmao:
And he shook that one woman's hand like he was going to rip her arm off.

APEC Summit 2017 Vietnam

America First didn't go down too well in Vietnam during the APEC 2017 Summit. The Vietnamese host placed Putin and Xi next to him but left Trump seated further away next to small countries. Recall G20 Meeting in Germany where Trump was place in the corner?
Forgive my ignorance, but where's Melania? I noticed women I didn't recognize wearing the special button down shirts. Can I assume they are heads of state and the women wearing the gowns are spouses of heads of state?

I think I saw on the news last night she stayed behind in China? I have seen photos of her on the Great Wall and I think a zoo visiting children?

Thanks. Can't say as I blame her. All that forced hand-holding was probably making her ill.

She's starring in Monty Python's "How Not to Be Seen."

There's a protocol with the seating arrangement. From memory the host is front and central, and the leaders who have been in power the longest are in more prominent positions than more newly-elected leaders. I wouldn't read too much into the seating arrangement.

Trump: Donald Trump is bigly popular with all the cool kids. Bigly:
PRESIDENT TRUMP: The opera was great too, but the following night -- that was the first time that theater has been used at the Forbidden City in over a hundred years. You know that. They prepared the theater for that -- the first time in over a hundred years.

No, it was an amazing -- we have an amazing feeling toward each other. And he's for China; I'm for USA. You know, it's one of those things. But we have a great feeling.
:snippity:
But it's gone really well. I've really enjoyed it. Developed some new friendships -- some really good friendships. But the three countries we've stopped in, the original three are -- they're really in our camp, and we're in their camp.
‘He means it’: Trump appears to take Putin’s denial about election meddling at face value

Much more crazy at the link about Trump believing what Putin said about not meddling in the election and how it's a shame that the U.S. and Russia can't play together because of those meanie democrats [and the intelligence community :brickwallsmall: ] who say Russia meddled in the election.

I'm starting to think Melania should write 45's lines for him. Her sense of the English language and her vocabulary are waaaay more advanced than his.

And now in the Philippines.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-asean ... SKBN1DC07P
MANILA (Reuters) - Leaders from across Asia joined U.S. President Donald Trump at an extravagant gala dinner in the Philippines’ capital on Sunday, a show of amity in a region fraught with tensions that have lurked behind his marathon tour of the continent.

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte set the tone of cordiality ahead of the two days of summit meetings he will host, suggesting that despite their differences over claims to the South China Sea, the leaders should not discuss the issue.

“We have to be friends, the other hotheads would like us to confront China and the rest of the world on so many issues,” Duterte said at a business conference, as planes carrying heads of state and government attending the summit landed in quick succession in Manila.

I wonder if Duterte could convince Teh Donald how dealing with the opiate crisis the Phillipino way would be very effective, especially if the leader of the nation were to switch from gooof balling to 2nd ammendment solutions personally.

The Hill
Schumer: Trump's Asia trip a 'colossal flop'

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) panned President Trump's 12-day Asia trip as a "colossal flop" Tuesday in a speech delivered on the Senate floor.

Schumer said he had "never been so ashamed" of a president's actions abroad.

"I have never been so ashamed of a foreign trip in my years. It's just inside-out," Schumer said. "We attack our friends and the people who have given us the most trouble, China and Russia, we mollycoddle — that is so bad for the future of this country."

Trump has taken criticism for ignoring rampant human rights abuses while interacting with the leaders of nations such as China and the Philippines, as well as for his bellicose attitude toward North Korea.

Schumer blasted Trump for actions that he said "unsettled" U.S. allies and "emboldened" the country's enemies.

Big accomplishment: North Korea sentenced him to death. People warned him not to incite this maniac. Government news:
Rodong Sinmun Sheds Light on Trump's Hideous Crimes
Date: 15/11/2017 | Source: KCNA.kp (En)

Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- Trump betrayed his true colors as an old lunatic, mean trickster and human reject during his one night and two days stay in south Korea, says Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday in a commentary.

Trump in his 35 minutes-long address to the "National Assembly" of south Korea, painted a black picture of the DPRK for 22 minutes, spouting all sorts of rubbish against it, only to stun the public, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The worst crime for which he can never be pardoned is that he dared malignantly hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

Trump, who is no more than an old slave of money, dared point an accusing finger at the sun. He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people.

He will be forced to pay dearly for his blasphemy any moment.

The second on the list of his hideous crimes is that he malignantly hurt the dignified DPRK and Korean-style socialist system.

Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses which made its appearance in denial of the exploiting system of capitalism at an inevitable stage of the development of history is t the most advantageous and scientific socialism embodying the nature of mankind to live independently.

Such a depraved guy as Trump, who is dreaming a pipedream of spreading venom of corrupt American capitalism in denial of the most advantageous social system of the DPRK, will never grasp the truth that injustice can never prevail over justice until his last breath, buried under the bulwark of the great single-minded unity of the DPRK.

The third of his thrice-cursed crimes is that he spouted a load of rubbish to paint a black picture of the happy life of the great Korean people.

The one who violated the dignity of the people and insulted them should never expect their pardon.

The Korean people will regard the face of Trump as a symbol of wolf-like U.S. imperialism and as a target of merciless retaliation and send him to the hell he likes so much to tout.

The fourth is that he twisted the history of justice and cried out for stifling the DPRK by force of violence.

The reckless remarks spouted by Trump during his junkets cannot but be viewed as the final confirmation of the White House's policy hostile to the DPRK, a total denial of the existence of the DPRK and an open declaration of war not to allow the existence of the Korean people any more.

Rabid dog's barking can never frighten the Korean people.

It is the principle and way of the DPRK to toughly react to any acts of hostility.

The U.S. will have to bitterly experience what it dislikes most and witness what it thought of in nightmare. -0-
