Oh, following his MLK Day publicity stunt, to loudly ask the president if he's racist.

JUST IN: Sen. Graham on Pres. Trump's remarks:

"Following comments by the President, I said my piece directly to him yesterday. The President and all those attending the meeting know what I said and how I feel ... I appreciate Senator Durbin’s statements." pic.twitter.com/nxD7EgBECt

So, Graham is pretty much confirming what Durbin has said.

Palm Beach County wants its terror threat level raised because of Trump visits

Palm Beach County is pushing for the federal government to raise its terrorism threat level, a move that could help draw down more in federal grants, according to a memo obtained by the South Florida Sun Sentinel. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for Mar-a-Lago — Trump’s private club in Palm Beach — to be designated a “high-risk critical asset.”

When the federal government awards anti-terror funds, one factor officials examine is the presence of symbolic targets and landmarks to decide how much cities should get. Cities are ranked based on perceived risk, which determines how much money they get to fund terrorism prevention programs.

Palm Beach County could be eligible for more in Homeland Security grants, particularly a source of funding known as the Urban Area Security Initiative, if Mar-a-Lago receives the designation, officials wrote in their memo. “Having the president governing from our county in an area bordered on water on each side in a facility never built to offer the level of protection the president requires is a challenge,” Palm Beach County Commissioner Dave Kerner said. “We have to continue to supplement our local response.”

A lawyer for President Donald Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter.

The lawyer was Michael Cohen.

Lindsey Graham stood up to Trump when he called poor countries "shitholes."

Graham can kiss off the Secretary of State slot.
At this point, anyone who joins the administration might as well have "I have no self respect whatsoever" tattooed on their forehead.

Who is Stormy Daniels? Trump Paid Former Porn Star Stephanie Clifford $130K to Keep Quiet
http://www.newsweek.com/who-stormy-dani ... eep-780251
Donald Trump had his lawyer arrange a payment of $130,000 to a woman known as Stormy Daniels just one month before the 2016 election, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is a former adult-film star who allegedly had a sexual encounter with Trump. Clifford and Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen—a former attorney for the Trump Organization—arranged the $130,000 along with a nondisclosure agreement.

Clifford claims the sexual encounter with Trump occurred in 2006 after a Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament. Donald and Melania Trump were married in 2005.

Seems that Trump's lawyer may not have paid off enough porn stars. ;)

Porn Star: Trump and Stormy Daniels Invited Me to Hotel Room

https://amp.thedailybeast.com/porn-star ... ssion=true
“Stormy calls me four or five times, by the last two phone calls she’s with Donald [Trump] and I can hear him, and he’s talking through the phone to me saying, ‘Oh come on Alana, let’s have some fun! Let’s have some fun! Come to the party, we’re waiting for you.’ And I was like, ‘OMG it’s Donald Trump!’ Men like him scare me because they have so much power and this was way before his presidential nomination. So I bailed on them and turned my phone off.”

Evans said she talked to Daniels the next day, apologized for bailing, and asked her how the night went. “She tells me, ‘All I’m going to say is: I ended up with Donald in his hotel room. Picture him chasing me around his hotel room in his tighty-whities.’ I was like, ‘Oh I really didn’t need to hear that!’ Then she said he offered her keys to his condos in Florida, and I was like, ‘Wow guess you had a good night,’ and that was the last we ever spoke of it.”

Swiss group starts petition to oppose Pres. Trump’s visit to the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, later this month. http://abcn.ws/2Fx9TiO
The petition is merely symbolic since Davos did invite Trump. Still, if you are pissing off the Swiss you are probably not a nice person. ;)

Some details.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/12/us/p ... .html?_r=0
It was just after President Trump had finished railing in the Oval Office against African immigrants he said came from “shithole countries” when a senior Republican senator, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who was there to negotiate a deal on immigration, spoke up.

“America is an idea, not a race,” Mr. Graham said, according to three people familiar with the exchange on Thursday. Diversity was a strength, he said, not a weakness. And by the way, the senator added, he himself was a descendant of immigrants who came to the United States from “shithole countries with no skills.”

Mr. Trump’s racially charged comments in front of several lawmakers, which also extended to immigrants from Haiti — followed by a day in which members of Congress denounced the president, defended him or stayed silent — now threaten what had been an emerging agreement to protect undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children.

Several people with knowledge of the conversation said the president had also demanded to know whether Haitian immigrants could be removed. The White House has not disputed the account of the exchange.

Campax is fairly unknown entity in Switzerland, founded last year by poltical left leaning / green exponents. But the news of DJT coming to Davos has been taken up by all the anti-WEF groupings in Switzerland before this petition, they will hold their traditional protest rallyes in various Swiss cities during the WEF. The petition itself will get totally ignored. Teh Donald will not even notice any protests, as he will fly by helicopter from Zurich Airport ZRH to Davos, assuming good weather conditions. Davos is by the way in a strategic good position for securtity purposes. One valley in the Alps, with a single main road that can be well kept under control at the entrance into the moutains. The single train line gets a special stop where people need to change from the feeder line to the mountain line. Only locals welcome during WEF, protesters get filtered out. As its winter time there are no ways to circumvent security. Also there is a no-fly zone around the region. With the many government heads and officials the Swiss federal government has called parts of the army to active (aka war time style) duty for securing the perimeter and supplementing the police force.

Jim Wright has antother take
b) reportedly paid a porn actress $130,000 to keep quiet about a sexual encounter they had.

Now, leaving aside the part where I have to boggle at the idea of paying somebody to keep quiet about having sex with Trump (I mean I can see him having to pay $130K for the actual SEX, that part I can totally see. But I wouldn't think he'd have to pay anybody to keep QUIET about it. I mean, who the hell would admit they had sex with Trump? And I include Melania in this question). ANYWAY, I guess my point here is, Goddamn, I hope no sex-tape of this encounter surfaces. I still haven't forgiven Bill Clinton for making it okay for my 85 year old mom to use the word "blowjob" at the the dinner table, I don't know how much more of this shit I can take.

The worst part is that he had to leak (heh heh) the porn star thing to distract from the racism thing which was a distraction from the book thing which was a distraction from the Russia thing which was a distraction from...

Seriously, when you have to distract from your racism with a story about how you paid off a porn star, where does that end? The problem with this type of escalation is that sooner or later he's going to have beat a hobo to death with a bag of kittens on the White House lawn.
