Yabutt a regional firm here by the name of Hupy and Abraham hired William Shatner to make their commercials. They'll get you All The Money. :)

They're licensed in Illinois, chilidog. :geek:

I know this isn't a real lawyer commercial, but, kinda, isn't it?

(no fan of Chiachi, but loved Arrested Development.)

A few years ago there was a pair of attorneys who specialized in handling DUI and traffic violations who bought space on a large number of very large billboards promoting their services. Giant pictures of the two stern-looking guys with their names prominently displayed over the firm name, "attorneys at law" and the toll-free number. Good target marketing, one might say.

Unfortunately, one of them was disbarred shortly after they went up; in the state they were in, it is illegal to hold yourself out to be an attorney if you aren't one. They had to bear the expense of changing all of the billboards and IIRC the tab was in six figures. :fingerwag:

A personal favorite, and I'm afraid it may be real.

Well, real satire. ... tube_video
The video features Muessig’s friends playing the part of criminals grateful for the lawyer’s services and portrays Muessig as a lawyer who truly understands his clients.

Muessig, 32, tells the ABA Journal he created the video to reach younger clients who tend to communicate with each other by trading humor on the Internet. The younger crowd—those under 40—“just ping pong back and forth funny content to each other,” he says. The ad has gotten attention on Deadspin, Above the Law and Slate.
