Klayman will find that the legislation by which Nevada became a state -- to say nothing of the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution -- will foil his attempts to have a state court rule on the Federal government's ownership of the land.

Is Klayman admitted in the state courts of Nevada?
Maybe he is planning on bringing suit in a common law court? They have the power to render judgements against the federal government after all.

Judge Brown ruled Ryan Payne be transported, with GPS monitor, by Kelli Stewart, a Bundy family suppprter who is currently in Las Vegas. Brown ordered Payne surrender himself to US Marshals by noon Thurs. A release hearing is set for Jan. 23. Sentencing Feb. 27. #oregonstandoff

um, that sounds like a terrible idea. I hope they don't travel through Burns along the way.
U.S. Marshals said they could take Payne into custody in Las Vegas and transport him to Oregon, but that would take at least one week.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Geoff Barrow said that was the government’s preference, but Brown seemed to want Payne moved as quickly as possible.
:snippity:

Brown eventually agreed to allow Bundy family supporter Kelli Stewart to drive Payne the 973 miles from Las Vegas to Portland, pending a background check of Stewart.

Hmmm. Kelli did not, in fact, drive Ryan Payne--due back in Portland by noon today-- back to Portland. She drove (or is driving) to Salt Lake City with the Lambo Menagerie family, at least according the very reliable Commentariat. How'd that background check work out for ya, Kelli?

I'm very against extinction, but in this case that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Those guys could be sitting there in their underwear and it would be deja vu from that ugly scene several years ago.

I can't get the sound to work, which is clearly a message from God telling me She doesn't want me to incur brain damage. I'm off to do some reading to feed mind and soul.

What kind of cowboy wears their hat in the house? Geez. Even the Cartwrights took off their hats and gun belts when they walked in the door (except at the saloon, for obvious reasons). Of course the Cartwrights had an actual ranch, with land and cattle. At least on TV.

I tried on Facebook directly, but sound still didn't work. And the supporter comments are still coming in live. Just how many souls have these tricksters fooled with their "family" schtick?

I grew up with an original "Horsey" on the wall in the house.

How did you manage that? I love Horsey and was sad that he left Seattle for more southerly climes.

Very common around here to keep one's cowboy hat on indoors. If you've ever seen a guy take off a cowboy hat, there's a crease that runs around the entire head where the hat fits the tightest, and it's often :rotflmao: awful looking. In addition, the size of cowboy hats makes people look taller, much more substantial. All of sudden, the hat is doffed, and the guy looks like a 100-pound weakling, worthy of having desert sand kicked in his face. I've seen pics of Cliven with and without the hat. To impress at all, Cliven needs that hat, believe me.

Is that why cRyan is wearing a sombrero or is he going to join manspunk in Mexico?

Oh, I get why they wear the hats indoors. I've seen Cliven without the hat—he's an insignificant man, and the hat is the only thing that could make him iconic. I bet it would be really hard to find a photo of Ammon with a hat prior to 2014. He isn't shown wearing one on his business website. He looks pretty insignificant on it too.

Dan Blocker no doubt wore that big hat to make him look taller and bigger than he already was, especially since some of the guest stars weren't slouches in the size department.

For devout men who love their families so very, very much, they seem to spend a lot of time away from them—taking over public lands, staring at contractors over a gun barrel, giving inane interviews.

(I didn't watch it but am guessing it's inane.)

Speaking of inane, it sounds like ryan-c: and Papa Bundy were on Klayman's radio show today. He tweeted a link to it but I didn't bother clicking on it.

It looks like his couches aren't naugahyde, so there's a plus.
