Yes, media love to get random articles from random people. Just send it to everyone in the media! Even if their beat is downtown crime.

Although, I still wouldn't want to get kicked by a horse.

It's not fun. Ask me how I know.

But anyone who takes a horse out of a float without having a leather halter on the horse and a leather lead is a damn fool.

And deserves whatever happens next.

Blaming the horse for being a "pill" or "unruly" or characterizing the animal as the "bad" guy is typical of people who don't know what the hell they are doing, get themselves in trouble and then blame the horse.

Don't get me started on the stupidity of most horse people! There are more willfully stupid horse people who don't know what they are doing and have horses than there are horses in the whole world.

To be said for the horses: they could kill all of those dopes with ease and yet the number of accidents and injuries with horses is miniscule in comparison to stupidity with firearms.

Hey, Robert J. Sutherland: Nobody disputes your right to speak out. What we effing object to is that by "speaking out" you mean threatening people, including LEOs, with AR-15s.

And, Mr. Sutherland, we get legitimately pissed off when your ilk of arrogant anarchists take over, ruin, destroy and despoil land and facilities where the title to said real property is vested in the name of the citizens of the United States!

Put that in your britches and sit on it!

I think I saw only one video bit from Malheur, and it was Finicum saying to the Paiute something like: Come and get your stuff. It was amazingly awful.

The only time I've loaded a horse up without a head collar/halter is the time I had to move two wild mustangs, never handled, never haltered. They were run loose into a stock trailer and are now happily living in a sanctuary in North Dakota.

I know people who don't tie, but I couldn't understand not having a halter on.

But then again, this is Duane and the poots.

I certainly do see at least one similarity between Waco and Malheur.
Both Daivid Koresh and Ammon Bundy claimed God told them to do what they did.

Probably the most important thing I was ever told about horses was this: If you ever think your horse did something "wrong", it didn't. It was your fault.

This is true for any animal. Animals don't do "wrong" things. They do things you don't like, for example, cats peeing on the rug, dogs barking, etc., but they aren't "wrong." It's up to you to find out the underlying cause or to modify undesirable behavior.

I admire British euphemisms. Calling a horse trailer or lorry a "float" is also the height of wishful thinking.

I recall when one of the Bundys (Briana?) claimed not to have enough money to treat her dog (and then supposedly let it die) and when Mrs. Bridge Sniper's dog ended up with burned pads, and then any inkling of sympathy for any of them goes away.

One of the classic traits of these criminal anarchists is the highest possible level of arrogance and self-adopted superiority.

Special place in Hell for every one of them.

I don't mean to spam this thread. But since you asked, and I have NOT watched any of these, I don't know what is worth watching. Let me know if any or all need to be deleted.

I haven't watched, not gonna watch. Is this "memorial" on public land?

Not sure about the land. I keep hoping Goblin will sort it out for us before I wade in. Dinner first thought. If I can get cat off of lap...

Knowing who it came from, I'm pretty sure this was not a subtle hint on actually doing useful stuff instead of some stupid badly built monument. And anyway, these folks would never celebrate Debra for helping feed others when you can celebrate some idiot with extremely poor fashion choices.
