My mistake, I didn't check that out. Most of the wingnuts in Montana run as republicans and Libertarians stand not much chance and sometimes split the republican vote, a little, but never enough. I just assumed he would figure his only chance was as a republican. Seems to me he is not serious.

Fletcher* is a FOB (Friend of the Big Dog). Wonkish and civil-case minded. Likely to be concerned with the standard of review.
Bybee is Torture-Memo Bybee. But also from Las Vegas; his chambers are in the same building where the district court proceedings were held.
Watford was on Obama's SCOTUS shortlist.

Not the best draw for Bundy, but certainly not the worst.


* Fletcher was "W. Fletcher" because his mom (B. Fletcher) also was on the court; their services overlapped somewhat. B. Fletcher died in 2012.

The Lovelien v USA and lots of others, was dismissed by the DC court today.

The court cited Klayman's least favorite case, Twombly; the court cited Iqbal as well.

Klayman hates these cases because now federal lawsuits (to move onto discovery) must allege plausible facts, and courts repeatedly have ruled that Klayman's fever dreams aren't plausible.

The court noted Ryan's appeal (D.C. Cir. No. 19-5183).
