As I recall from previous elections in Virginia an automatic recount is required if the margin is less than 0.5% so this is huge.

I was driving through Richmond 3 weeks ago when a Brat commercial came on the radio claiming that Spanberger was lying about the record and Brat, like the other R's, had been protecting healthcare . . . blah blah blah. I about threw up on the spot. At my next stop I made a donation to her campaign. I think that was the turning point . . . .

August 26 was proclaimed Women's Equality Day in 1972 by Richard Nixon. August 26, 1920, was date the 19th Amendment was confirmed by the Secretary of State and became law.
