Losers! GOP/Alt Right Projections and Excuses - Midterms 2018

It's interesting how absolutely certain Trumpers are about tonight. Bill Mitchell, who in fairness did call 2016, 100% Guarantees his prediction:

Mitchell.JPG

There are tons of these kinds of solid, solid projections on right wing social media. Maybe they will. But seems hard to imagine millions of new voters signed up to vote for the GOP.

However, in the reality based world, Republicans are already finding excuses and casting blame.

There's going to a lot of that tonight so here's a place to keep them together.

 8-) We are totally geeked out for tonight! Here's our inventory list ready for the Election Party :P

Amazon Echo (by the way, did you know you can ask Alexa for Election Updates? Give it a try, just ask, it's custom to your location)
Three (3) 10" Kindle Fires - MSNBC, Fox News, local channel (we have the Xfinity Stream app on each Fire, turns it into a portable 10" TV, it's awesome for TV, Netflix, etc.)
2 iPhone 6s - Twitter, happy calls and texts
1 Android - Grubhub (leaning toward PF Chang)
50" Sony TV - Connected to PC with Windows Media Center (recording FoxNews election coverage), Firefox and Chrome Browsers, each with news and Twitter tabs open
50" TCL TV - CNN
16" Laptop - Fogbow
Portable AM Radio - for RWNJ newsradio if needed, or if the world comes to an end
2 Bottles Moet / 1 Percocet

Respectfully, I don't think it's tempting fate, this isn't 2016 and this isn't a presidential election where you add all the votes and add the Electoral College. Even in 2016, when we know Democrats stayed home and/or voted for third party candidates, we won by 3 million votes. Tonight each seat is local, Tennessee can't save the GOP in California (it's not even clear Tennessee will even save the GOP). If we lose I won't be nearly as upset as 2016, but watching the fear in the eyes of the Fox News team (except for Shep Smith), and knowing the history of midterms, still believe we're going to win big. What's so fun is we'll know soon!

This is not good
WASHINGTON — As Election Day 2018 gets underway, the nation’s top intelligence and law-enforcement chiefs want you to know that interference and disinformation efforts by foreign countries are still a threat to the U.S. — no matter what President Trump says.

In a joint statement released Tuesday morning, the heads of the Department of Homeland Security, Justice Department, Office of the Director of National Intelligence and FBI reminded the public that “foreign actors — and Russia in particular — continue to try to influence public sentiment and voter perceptions through actions intended to sow discord.” Their statement says these attacks can come in the form of “spreading false information about political processes and candidates, lying about their own interference activities, disseminating propaganda on social media and through other tactics” and that Americans should be aware of such efforts.

Hey, I'm making a Twitter list of people involved with the election... pollsters, some candidates, some RJNJs, etc. Still adding to it but it's public at https://twitter.com/Orly_licious/lists/election if you want a shortcut to some of these feeds. You don't have to have a Twitter account or be logged in to see it. Happy to add people if there's somebody you'd like to see.

As I read all the problems minority majority precincts are having in Georgia, I'm so angry I could spit. I really thought Stacy Abrams has a good chance of winning, but not if they won't let anybody who is registered D vote.

It's pushing midnight here, and polls are still open across most of the USA.

I'm going to do my best to acknowledge that everything is now out of my hands, and the only thing that will be in any way different if I stay up and keep checking results instead of trying for a decent night's sleep is how rested I am as we go into whatever we're faced with in the morning.

So good night everyone, and good luck.

Bill still is standing by it. He keeps tweeting "bad news for Gillum". It's hilarious.

Remember that Steve Bannon joined forces with Gateway Pundit for live election coverage? It's happening  7-11pm. What misery they are about to experience. Delicious.

For months, Sean "I appear at campaign rallies" Hannity has been literally screaming "This is the most important election of our lifetimes". Problem is, only Democrats believed him? His show tonight is going to be epic. How are they going to run away from Donald? Have always thought that the GOP will run like rats from a ship. Who's going to be first?

And now the cable news networks are joined by ABC, CBS and NBC for full prime time coverage (they only gave the 2014 midterms an hour). Here we go and it's about fuc*ing time!

That's not quite true: her opponent is the person she defeated in 2014. (The denied applicant lost the primary.)

Still, karma.

Texas early voting numbers look good. Almost 1M votes and Beto leads 58-40
