Disappointing news from Nevada.

I was hoping Titus would have a rematch with Congressman Joe Heck in the purple 3rd district. A win over Heck would very likely result in a state delegation composed of 3 Democrats and 1 Republican (Republican Mark Amodei in the very red 2nd). It now appears that Nevada's congressional delegation will be evenly split in 2013.

Another missed opportunity.

Nevada state Senator Ruben Kihuen has withdrawn from the race for the Democratic nomination. Former Congresswoman Dina Titus will be a heavy favorite to return to Congress from a very blue district.

Former Congresswoman Dina Titus won her race and returns to Congress.

The Nevada congressional delegation will be evenly split:
Senators Reid (D) and Heller (R)
Congresscritters Titus (D-01), Horsford (D-04), Amodei (R-02) and Heck (R-03).
