There's not a lot of polls I could find for this race but what I did find was interesting to me.

From [Congressman Paul] Ryan's camp, Public Opinion Strategies' poll gives Ryan the nod, 58 to 33 percent. The poll was conducted after the Democratic National Convention, on Sept. 9 and 10, of 400 likely voters in the 1st District and has a 4.9 percent margin of error. Almost 70 percent of respondents, though, had never heard of [Democratic candidate Rob] Zerban.

FM3 Research conducted a poll for Zerban and showed the challenger only eight points behind Ryan, 39 to 47 percent, after voters were read a profile statement about him. This poll was conducted before the Repubican National Convention, from August 21-29, of 404 likely voters in the First District and has a 4.9 margin of error.

[/break1]patch.com/articles/1st-district-polling-shows-ryan-in-lead-zerban-gaining]http://mountpleasant.patch.com/articles ... an-gaining1) Both of these polls are in-house which often means padded results for their client.

2) Almost 70% of the respondents never heard of Zerban and he still registers 33% in a Ryan poll.

ED Schultz said there was a very good chance Ryan would lose both elections today. He did cite a poll source but I don't recall which one.

A double loss (being a double loser) will seriously damage the Pug ticket and adversely impact Ryan's career.....And taking Wisconsin and Massachusetts (home states) will make the victory a little sweeter. Defeating Ryan twice would be the cat's ass.

If he loses both races will he go away?Maybe he'll go into the private sector he loves so much. It must have been really tough for him to spend his entire career until now working for the evil government he hates so much. Now he can join the 53% of people who take responsibility for their lives.

Meh, maybe he will quit to save his district from witch hunts, and become a king maker like Saint Sarah
