Nice, I just learned about Advent calendars a few years ago. My daughter got me one this year I really like. It’s from Germany, where Advent is much more popular.
This one is the Wera Advent calendar. An assortment of tools. I actually already have several Wera insulated tools. Very high quality. I understand these usually sell out quickly after the launch in September.

Those Sorted fellows have multiple of these, almost none available in the US. We're sadder for it.

I watched the advent calendar YouTube twice, then I forwarded it to about ten friends. So much fun to watch.

Thanks!

I do believe there is a spec of something in my eye. I actually saw this last week, but didn't bother watching to the end. That was a mistake. Glad I rectified it.

For reasons, this specific X-mas isn't festive, but y'all are managing to get a smile outta me.

Thank you.

Many years ago when many (most?) homes in the NE and mid-west were heated with coal (watch the movie "A Christmas Story). Getting a lump of coal to put in an Xmas stocking was easy. Parents just went down into their cellar and grabbed one. I am old enough to remember coal trucks delivering coal thru openings into people's cellars.

Now most homes are heated with oil or gas or electricity or even solar. I wouldn't know where to go to buy a lump of coal these days. :confuzzled:

You could reasonably expect that a modern child will not know the difference between a lump of coal and a charcoal briquet. Fire up the barby!
