Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!

[Christine] O’Donnell is taking care of her family and will make a decision later about possibly running against [Sen Chris] Coons again in 2014, Abby Livingston reports in the Farm Team column, Roll Call’s weekly state-by-state look at up-and-coming candidates.

Would O’Donnell, who became the bane of national Republicans that cycle, run again? Her former campaign manager, Matthew Moran, said it’s a possibility.

“We hear from Christine’s supporters everyday that they want her to run again,” he wrote in an email to CQ Roll Call. “However, both of her parents faced serious illness this past year so she won’t be making a decision about 2014 until they are in the clear.”

You can hear the screams of frustration from the National Republican Senatorial Committee all the way in our office.

Buggers!Christine O'Donnell, the 2010 tea party-backed U.S. Senate candidate, said Thursday she would "rather slam my hand in a car door" than run another campaign this year, calling a rematch with U.S. Sen. Chris Coons "highly unlikely.""Moderate Republicans and RINOs are extinct," said O'Donnell, adding that the tea party has made reducing the federal deficit and debt a part of the national conversation. "Because of the tea party upswing, candidates are more thoughtful about what the Republican Party stands for. I think the movement has been very successful."O'Donnell is now focused, she said, on launching a nonprofit called the "Legal Offense Fund" to take on the Internal Revenue Service for targeting conservatives. Despite her own reservations about entering another political campaign, O'Donnell says there should be little doubt about the tea party's success.[/break1]delawareonline.com/story/firststatepolitics/2014/05/22/odonnell-tea-party/9438703/]http://www.delawareonline.com/story/fir ... y/9438703/Oh well, there's still Monica Wehby, MD in Oregon.
