I'm seeing the few remaining Buster neoPUMAs also repeating the claims about her health. Not surprising, since they love repeating right-wing lies

Dr. Drew is an addiction specialist:

Okay that's a new term for me. I had to guess (and confirm via the google).

Gotta love it when a physician uses their authority to feed the nut-job maw? Wasn't there another one a few years ago? Claiming that Obama was psychotic and hated whites because of his colonial roots (I know, so many people have said that it's hard to keep track)? Or am I just thinking of Dr. Drew?

Rudy Giuliani Claims Online Videos Show Hillary Clinton Is Mentally Ill

Apparently Rudy didn't get the memo:
Donald Trump campaign adviser and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani asserted that online videos exist that raise serious questions about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s mental health.

In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Giuliani blamed the news media for failing to give attention to supposedly valid questions about Clinton’s psychological fitness.

Asked to explain Clinton’s lead over Trump in the polls, Giuliani argued that she has “an entire media empire” devoted to attacking Trump and ignoring her own foibles. The media, he claimed, “fails to point out several signs of illness by her. All you’ve got to do is go online.”

Pressed for evidence of this illness by host Shannon Bream, Giuliani doubled down on unnamed internet sources. “Go online and put down ‘Hillary Clinton illness,’ take a look at the videos for yourself,” he insisted.

It's ironic that the guy who, just last week, said there had been no terrorist attacks on US soil for the eight years prior to Obama's presidency, also said that Hillary Clinton is mentally impaired, considering he was mayor of NYC in 2001.

Not sure how to embed. Maybe an eggspurt can do it for me? :prettyplease:

Well, Hillary already has my vote, but if I could count on her opening jars for me too, that would be great.

I didn't know that I could count on the next President for that, so I got this neat Hamilton Beach product that runs on batteries and has opened almost everything with which I have challenged it.* A great substitute for hands that are becoming slightly arthritic. Maybe I'll stick with that instead of calling on her all the time. She may have other things to do.

* There is a jar of Italian peppers that has a mouth so wide that nothing can get hold of it, including the Hamilton Beach. I don't count that against the machine. I'm sure that, with his tiny hands, Donald has a live-in jar opener; maybe he or she can handle it.

I have the plug-in version of that! Between my carpal tunnel syndrome and Mr. K's nerve-damaged hands, some friends of ours thought it would be the perfect gift, and they were right!

The Jar Key!
Simple plastic tool that pops the seal, which is what makes jars so hard to open. $4.99. Hasn't failed yet.

Don't you mean "fpoon"?

By the way, I find the title of this thread really ominous (because of the reference---big new Who fan).

I beg your pardon! Yef, of courfe, fpoon. :thankyou:

I find the thread title ominous too also, Slarti, but only on the alternate universe where there are different rules of causality. As Lt. Uhura once commented, "This isn't reality, Mister, this is fantasy." Or maybe she was a Commander by then. :towel:

I got a gadget from Amazon yesterday. It took a long time to arrive, and I had forgotten I'd ordered it. It's 100% manual, and I haven't tried it yet (had a Canadian guest last night and was busy cooking). I think it was recommended on one of my favorite websites, sweethome.com. I'll let you know how it works, and even the name of it!

I just turn the jar upside down and bang it down on a cutting board with enough force to break the seal but not enough to break the glass. It's really easy to open then.

I was happy to see Uhura get promotions. Partly because...yay, Uhura. Partly because at the rate Kirk kept screwing up and getting demoted, there was a good chance he would be a private by the time it was all over with. Hey, somebody has to "drive" the ship.
