This is what I heard! I thought I was hallucinating because every other quote I’ve seen was respectful. First thing outta her mouthy mouth after the news broke is a diss, because OF COURSE it’s all about her.

At this point, not only would I not piss on a burning Republican, I wouldn’t let anyone else do it, either. Pretty sure their inevitable fall will be spectacular.

Howdy! Zydeco is cruising right along. We’re getting lots of good gigs and somewhat higher paying gigs. We are regularly hired for all of the So Cal zydeco festivals and also getting some in NorCal and places like casinos in Laughlin. Got a big road trip in about a week to a festival near Sacramento. Zydeco is a small niche market, but we seem to be well established regionally. It’s quite gratifying I must say. You know, if you work hard at something for 15 or 20 years you actually can become halfway decent at it. :-D

Thanks for asking!

On an unrelated topic, my wife and I are getting ready to head over to Pasadena for the Bruins season opener at the Rose Bowl. Go Bruins! :ucla: :ucla: :towel: :towel:

We’re gonna stay over in Glendale and make a little weekend road trip out of it.

Go Bruins :ucla: ! (Class of 1980 here).

Never thought I would live long enough to see anybody refer to Glendale as a desirable weekend destination.... but that's a story for a different day.

Class of '89 here but only did home games my freshman year. Routed SC though which was fun...

Glendale cause it’s right close to the Rose Bowl. Well, close enough. Plus, there’s Dave’s Accordion Shop in Atwater Village. Always worthy of a quick visit.

Hay, Glendale has some cool places. Atwater Village is Home to a couple of equity waiver theater groups and small theaters; Scholl Canyon CC is worth at least a drive up Gleanoaks Canyon. The view from the parking lot is awesome! My niece played college tennis there a few months ago and I’ve driven up a couple of times since, just to sit and look.

Have fun!

The deal is, I root for :ucla: every game of the season unless they're playing :trojans:. And vice versa.

So I'm sorry that a buncha big strong bears couldn't seem to hold off a puny little group of bearcats.

It's a bit late in the game for this admission from Wallace and Schmidt. It was interesting to watch this afternoon, though.

https://crooksandliars.com/2018/09/shoc ... ills-beans
God knows, they've hinted about it. But today, Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt openly stated that if it looked like John McCain was going to win the presidency in 2008, they would have intervened to remove Sarah Palin.

"Steve, we had this conversation on the bus. We thought about, we talked about it, and we weren't the only ones," Wallace said.

Schmidt described her as "psychologically deteriorating, manifestly unfit to be anywhere near the command authority." He said the crash stopped McCain's chances, and fortunately, they didn't have to remove her.

"It wasn't an interviewing problem, though she was ignorant, and she was mean, and she was divisive, it was the psychological unsuitability," Schmidt said.

Jumping in because I adore Nicole Wallace's show, and recently watched Game Change primarily to see how she was portrayed. No biggy, but I don't think it was too late to say that they discussed how to keep her out of the White House if McCain were elected. I think this was the exact right time.

From what I've seen the whole family has issues with little things like impulse control, ethics, common sense, little things like that.
