I'm not a fan of SBC but at least he changes his shtick once in a while.
Actually, that's what makes Palin's plight even funnier: "Da Ali G. Show" first aired in the United States in 2003 -- 15 years ago. In light of it, and people such as James O’Keefe, celebrities ought to know better. But Cohen's point is to show how craven they are for publicity.
Which he proved with bells on. Poor Wailin' Palin, the mean old comedian let her make, an even bigger, fool of herself. She so desperately craves, rather like the worst junky, attention, and relevance. One she will continue to get because she is an ongoing spectacle and all 'round fool, and the other she will NEVER achieve for exactly the same reasons. I don't like SBC, but low hanging fruit baby, low hanging fruit.

i don’t think Sasha gives two fucks about Sarah’s fit.

He did apologize, and at the same time revealed his newest character.

Track reached a plea deal which allowed removal to Veteran’s Court.

To clarify for :sterngard: and anyone else, in case you need a refresher on the Track Palin saga, this is his second plea deal, and his second stint in Veterans Court. First were the assault/gun charge/preventing a DV report on his girlfriend and mother of his child. Second was assault on Todd, with Sarah calling 911, with Track on the roof calling the police "peasants." This is, of course, after his involvement in the Todd Palin birthday brawl, for which there were ultimately no charges.

If only the McCain family had invited Tina Fey :P Senator McCain is sure getting the last laugh. Breitbart is desperate for a story...
Sarah Palin, Loyal Running Mate, Excluded from John McCain’s Funeral
29 Aug 2018

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral. Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony. McCain fundraiser Carla Eudy confirmed to People that Palin had not been invited — possibly, People speculated, at the best of the McCain family.

The news comes on the tenth anniversary of the date in 2008 when Palin was announced as McCain’s pick for Vice President. Palin now joins President Donald Trump on the list of those barred from the funeral. But unlike Trump, Palin never feuded with McCain and never criticized him.

When news broke on Saturday of McCain’s passing, Palin said: “Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life — and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self. “John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.”

Last year, when McCain was reported to have said that he regretted choosing Palin instead of Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-VT), Palin described the news as a “gut punch” but refused to blame McCain personally, telling the UK Daily Mail that she blamed his “ghostwriters” for such reports.
***
Still, Palin never took offense, and always honored McCain. Even after being excluded from the funeral, she declined to criticize him. People quoted a source close to the Palin family: “[O]ut of respect for Sen. McCain and his family we have nothing cto add at this point. The Palin family will always cherish their friendship with the McCains and hold those memories dear.”

But in fairness, this was the classiest way the Palin camp could have handled the snub. Credit where credit is due.

Um, maybe some people didn't hear about this.
Poor John McCain can’t die in peace without a last few digs from his former vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin. While most of the political world was fondly remembering Sen. McCain and issuing sympathetic statements to his family, Palin took the opportunity to make his death all about her. She went on the click-happy British website DailyMailTV to vent—again—about her frustrations with his staff and advisors during and after the 2008 presidential campaign.

She told the DailyMailTV that McCain lived in the Washington, DC, “bubble” and was out of touch with real people and, as a result, overly reliant on his advisers to tell him “what America really wanted.” She went on to say:
I don’t think inherently he necessarily was really connected, so he did rely on people telling him – in polls – telling him and…he went from there.

I think that’s unfortunate because he had some strange people around him and..disloyal people, and you know, I don’t say that as like hate speech or griping about it, it’s just a fact they were just some not nice people.
She also said a nice thing: “I’ll remember the good times, that’s for darn sure." But couldn't stop there. "And I won’t rehash the strange times that happened after the campaign that some of his people orchestrated.”

This is what I heard! I thought I was hallucinating because every other quote I’ve seen was respectful. First thing outta her mouthy mouth after the news broke is a diss, because OF COURSE it’s all about her.

At this point, not only would I not piss on a burning Republican, I wouldn’t let anyone else do it, either. Pretty sure their inevitable fall will be spectacular.
