Apparently Jones's editor, Paul J. Watson, rejects Alex Jones's crusade about Sandy Hook.

I like it when a lawyer asks a defendant if he's proud of what hey did. If he says yes and it was awful, that simply adds to the potential punitive damages. If he says "no," he's not helping his case.

After a wildfire in 2008 I asked the manager of the plant where an electrical short caused the fire essentially if he was proud of how he operated the plant on that date. Here's how he answered, and my subsequent questions:
Q: Are you proud of the performance of the [redacted] storage facility electrical system on October 13, 2008?

A: I have no reason not to be proud of the electrical system on that date.

Q: Do you know how many houses were destroyed in the [redacted] fire?

A: No.

Q: Do you know how many people died as a result of the [redacted] Fire?

A: No.
As the case grew in size and we assembled a large team of plaintiffs' lawyers to sue the utility, we all beat the utility with this until every case was settled -- for a lot more than each case was actually worth.

Alex Jones and InfoWars Ordered to Pay $100K in Court Costs for Sandy Hook Case
https://www.thedailybeast.com/alex-jone ... -hook-case
A Texas judge has ordered Alex Jones and his InfoWars hoax website to pay more than $100,000 in court costs and legal fees, marking the latest court victory for a Sandy Hook family suing Jones for his promotion of conspiracy theories about the 2012 shooting.

Jones and InfoWars are being sued by Neil Heslin, whose six-year-old son was killed in the Newtown, CT shooting. On Dec. 20, Travis County Judge Scott Jenkins granted a motion for sanctions and legal expenses against Jones and InfoWars, ordering them to pay $65,825 for ignoring a court order about providing documents and witnesses. In another ruling issued that same day in Heslin’s case, Jenkins denied an InfoWars motion to dismiss the case and ordered Jones and InfoWars to pay an additional $34,323.80, for a combined total of $100,148.80 levied against Jones and InfoWars in a single day.

Added to an earlier October order against InfoWars, Jones and his outlet have been ordered to pay $126,023.80 over the case, even before it reaches trial.

“It’s hardly a surprise that someone like Alex Jones would soon find himself in contempt of court, but now he is learning there are severe consequences to his utter disrespect for this process,” Mark Bankston, one of Heslin’s attorneys, said in an email to The Daily Beast.

InfoWars and Jones didn’t respond to requests for comment.

So Alex Jones and Owen went to "Commie Bernie"'s* rally in Austin to harass people and got their butts kicked... they brought a bullhorn. Watched them pull this same bs in Florida during the recount (it was Jacob Engels screaming into a bullhorn a few feet away and Laura Loomer that time). But of course, they're the victims, talk about snowflakes. Only watched the first few minutes, sound problems and they are being total idiots.

Infowars Crew Member Attacked and Left Bloodied By Crazed Leftists at Bernie Sanders Rally, Sent to Hospital for Stitches
by Cassandra Fairbanks February 23, 2020

A member of Infowars crew was violently attacked by supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders at a rally in Texas on Sunday, requiring him to go to the hospital for stitches. Infowars host Owen Shroyer and his crew had attended the Austin rally with a bullhorn shouting things like “Bernie Sanders let the Democrats steal the election in 2016” and “Trump 2020.” The crew was repeatedly surrounded by crazed leftists who were upset by his presence.

“Unhinged Bernie supporters drew blood on my security tonight at the Bernie rally. These people are radical and violent. They are everything they claim to fight against,” Shroyer tweeted with photos and video of the incident. pic.twitter.com/TjgWLBOgpc
— J Owen Shroyer (@allidoisowen) February 24, 2020

The security guard was hit in the face with a bullhorn leaving a large gash above his eyebrow.
Look at how loving and tolerant Bernie supporters are! https://t.co/Nx0V2zE8us
— J Owen Shroyer (@allidoisowen) February 24, 2020

In a follow up video, Shroyer said that his security guard had to go to the hospital to get stitches.

“We are on the verge of the left becoming so radical and unhinged that there will be violence in the streets. Let me tell you something folks, if Bernie Sanders lets the Democrats steal this nomination from him again in 2020 and he doesn’t fight back, they’re going to fight back,” he added of Sanders supporters.

The Radical Left Is On The Verge Of A Full Blown Mental Breakdown Which Will Result In Potentially Deadly Violence https://t.co/IODPlVxfCs
— J Owen Shroyer (@allidoisowen) February 24, 2020

Shroyer warned that this kind of incident is just a hint of the violence that will come if leftists continue to be radicalized.

Near as I can tell from watching the video, it looks like he hit his own bodyguard with the bullhorn while trying to strike a Bernie supporter. The "vicious attack" by Bernie supporters was someone trying to hug them.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones charged with DWI in Travis Co., authorities say

Austin-based conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was booked into the Travis County Jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated just after midnight Tuesday, the Travis County sheriff’s office said.

Jones, 46, was booked at 12:37 a.m., said Kristen Dark, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office. The driving while intoxicated charge is a class B misdemeanor, she said.

His bail was set at $3,000 but he was released on bond at 4:11 a.m., Dark said.
But he has an excuse!
Timothy Johnson@timothywjohnson

Alex Jones is on air saying that he was arrested for a DUI last night, he is professing his innocence.

Jones showed some paperwork showing he was tested at just under .08 -- in Texas you can still be charged with operating while intoxicated if you are under the limit but still impaired. Jones blamed his arrest on the fact he was in a hot tub earlier in the evening.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones arrested for DWI in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Authorities in Texas say conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was arrested in Texas on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

Kristen Dark, a spokeswoman for the Travis County Sheriff's office, said Tuesday that the Infowars founder was booked into an Austin jail shortly after midnight and released on bond a few hours later.

Jones is being sued in Austin over claims that the Infowars host used his show to promote falsehoods that 2012 Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax.

An attorney for Jones didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment.

Hey, missed that this dude was finally arrested. It's about time.
After years of pushing Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, Florida man who worked with Alex Jones is arrested
By DAVE ALTIMARI HARTFORD COURANT | JAN 27, 2020 | 4:55 PM

Police arrested 73-year-old Wolfgang Halbig Monday for unlawful possession of personal identification. The Florida man has allegedly harassed and tormented families associated with the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. According to police, Halbig is a contributor to Alex Jones’ Infowars and has supported the conspiracy theory that the massacre at Sandy Hook was a hoax. A Florida man who is the ringleader of a group that has hounded the families of victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting was arrested early Monday morning by sheriffs and charged with unlawful possession of personal identification of another person.

Wolfgang Halbig has spent years trying to show the shooting was a hoax and that the 20 children who died were actually actors — as recently as the last few weeks he posted photos of children that he claimed were actually current photos of the victims. Halbig was arrested at 1:39 a.m. at his Sorrento, Florida, home, according to the police report. The 73-year-old posted a $5,000 cash bond and is due back in court on Feb. 24. A complaint against Halbig was filed by Leonard Pozner, whose 6-year-old son Noah was among the children killed at Sandy Hook.

Halbig is accused of publishing and circulating Pozner’s personal information, including his social security number and home address. Pozner has moved several times since leaving Connecticut after the shooting. Halbig is also a defendant in the civil lawsuit filed by Sandy Hook victims families against Alex Jones, the host of the Infowars internet radio program. The families are suing Jones for claiming the attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School that claimed the lives of 20 first graders and six educators was a hoax, and argue that he profited by spreading the hoax claim.

The lawsuit accuses Jones of orchestrating a sustained attack on the families that lasted for years, accusing family members of being actors, stating as fact the shooting was a hoax and inciting others to act on those claims all because it was good for his ratings, drew advertisers and made him money. Halbig appeared on Infowars several times following the Dec. 14, 28012 shooting spewing his conspiracy theory. At one point Halbig came to Newtown with a camera crew provided by Infowars to confront Sandy Hook families. Halbig has filed dozens of Freedom of Information requests with Newtown and state officials seeking information on everything from who ordered portable toilets the day of the massacre to crime scene photos.

Jones has more recently distanced himself from Halbig, particularly since the lawsuit was filed in Connecticut. Halbig hasn’t actually appeared in court for any of the proceedings so far and is self-represented in the Connecticut case. “Mr. Halbig had a brief and limited association with Infowars," said Norm Pattis, Jones’ attorney. "He and his views have long been in the rearview mirror.”

His bail was set at $3,000 but he was released on bond at 4:11 a.m., Dark said.

An arrest affidavit for Jones says a sheriff’s deputy responded at 10:10 p.m. Monday to a western Travis County residence for a disturbance reported by Jones’ wife.

His wife had told the dispatcher they were in a verbal fight that had been physical earlier in the day, the affidavit says. She said Jones was leaving the residence in a black Dodge Charger and that he was possibly drinking, the affidavit says.

Texas has a statewide form custody order, or did, and “possession” may distinguish who has the children at a given time.

Jones' current wife is a former professional masseuse, who under the name “Enya” advertised private, discreet services to men in hotel rooms. Jones has had at least one child with her so far.

Jones' former wife Kelly (the mother of these kids), didn't come off much better than Jones himself in their 2017 custody battle. Alex was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Kelly was said to exhibit emotional dysregulation and to have narcissistic and paranoid “tendencies.” Kelly's career is public relations, and she's worked with PETA for a long while, including engaging in stunts such as throwing a dead raccoon on Vogue editor Anna Wintour's dinner plate at the Four Seasons, and throwing a tofu cream pie into the face of Oscar de la Renta. Both parents reportedly worked hard at alienating their kids against the opposing parent, with Alex seemingly having more success, per the testimony in the custody suit.

So these kids are basically SOL regardless of who they end up with.

Too, also - given that both parents are narcissists, no surprise if either of them refer to their kids as their possessions, or as having possession instead of custody, as if the kids were objects instead of people. That's actually typical for narcissists.

I think you mean "accessories" since even calling them "possessions" gives them too much status as people for your garden variety of narcissist and even more so for the hyper variety like Jones, and apparently wife, is/are. Very very toxic and destructive to the children.
