I finally got a detailed response from tech support, and I will share after I get back from a walk.

Meanwhile, the first thing it recommended was to delete and rebuild the search index, so I am doing that now.

Then we'll look at the other ideas this guy has.

There appears to be something very wrong with page 36 of General Law & Lawsuits, unrelated, I think, to the ongoing issues. I get this error:

Error 500 = cannot process at this time - my bet is that a technician was at work on some part (database?). Foggy would have had the Work in progress page showing.

I was doomed on the Former FB if I tried searching for "Orly" and only searching topic titles. I would get kicked to the curb.

Site seems to be working OK. The biggest problem I am seeing is that when I click on Hijack this thread, I just get a blank response. No Fogbow banner, just completely blank page. This has been the case for at least the past week.

The problem seems to be only with the first page of the Hijack thread. I can go to the latest page or any other page from page 2 forward and it opens fine. Going to page 1 yields a blank page.

Ah-ha. I got impatient and the last three or four responses before I wrote mine didn't seem to be specific to one issue without context, so I got lazy and dropped anchor there. My bad.

That thread works all the way to page 35. 36 is paper white. Any attempt to reply or post gets the same paper white page. So, that thread is hosed for the moment.

Sounds like the index rebuild is good advice.

Somehow, this is bad for Joe Biden. I'm just trying to figure out how.

Everything for me has been zipping the last couple days, but pages in a couple threads turning up blank is not a good sign.

Been working great for me speedwise for the past couple days.

My new problem is that every time I move to a new page in a thread I get logged out.

I was logged out a few times while the board was up and down. The last two days have been fine.
