Yeah, his supporters - the hardcore - a lot of them were birthers that still love him.

But the thinking is also birther-like.

To a birther, no amount of reason, facts, or knowledge could ever persuade them that Obama was legitimately president. They'd always move the goalposts or simply switch to another stupid birther lie. They're incapable of rational analysis or decisionmaking, at least on certain subjects. There simply had to be some reason he was ineligible, and it was so important for emotional reasons that their brains simply would not function properly.

That's going to happen again. It won't matter if Trump is arrested, tried on nationable Tee Vee, found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by an impartial jury, sentenced, and the sentence upheld in the Supreme Court. There is no amount of evidence that could get the hardcore to admit he's guilty of ... anything at all, except possibly being too bashful to admit he's the Second Coming of Jeazess H. Kreist.

Most Lawyers don't announce to the press that they are considering filing a motion. They just do it.

I can't Trump has it in his head that people are going to be sitting around panicking when he announces that he might do something and that gives him a little stiffy. Oh wait, that's exactly the way it is. Actually doing something risks getting the motion denied and that's a failure.

Meet Garrett Ziegler.

He’s the anti-LGBTQ ex-Trump aide who tried to sic the MAGA militia on the family members of purported FBI agents who raided Mar-a-Lago last week by posting their personal information, including the names of their children, on the far-right social media platforms Telegram and Truth Social.

“This is one of the two feds who signed the ‘Receipt for Property’ form, which detailed—at a very high level—the fishing expedition that the FBI performed at Mar-a-Lago,” the 26-year-old posted, along with the FBI agents’ date of birth, work emails, and links to their alleged family members’ social media accounts, including children.

“Hope he doesn’t get a good night’s sleep for the rest of 2022,” he responded to another person’s Truth Social post that included photos of one of the alleged FBI officials who signed off on the inventory receipts on the warrant.

The posts, which were a potential violation the first federal statute (18 U.S.Code §119), which makes it illegal to knowingly release to the public the restricted personal information of a covered person or their family member, were taken down shortly after Ziegler published them, but not before they were widely circulated among the MAGA mob.

But since karma’s a b*tch, after doxxing alleged FBI agents, Ziegler himself was doxxed when regular, law-abiding citizens who don’t peddle in hate, conspiracy theories, or domestic terrorism learned about what he had done and posted his name and photo to Twitter, where he is currently being publicly shamed for his vile behavior.

I dunno if it is because of how Telegram works or what but I show Ziegler's post w/ the private info still up. He's bad. I've been following him awhile, he's a worst of the right wing pie holes. Anyway, Telegram stores an awful lot of data locally on your phone, so it's possible it loaded the post to my phone and is showing it from there rather than the feed. I guess. Or it's still up.
