Reminder: Supreme Court session ends this week, will they finally put back the citizenship question in the US census?

To me the most important question in the US census is whether the person is the US citizen. The whole idea behind the census was to count how many citizens live in the US, not tourists, not foreign students, who are due to go back, not illegals, who are due to get deported, but the US citizens.

For years the US census proudly featured this question at the top of the questionnaire. Globalists were able to remove this most important question from the census. This led to millions of illegals to be counted in the census, which gave the states with more illegals more federal dollars. This became an incentive for the states to become sanctuary states. Additionally, the donors of politicians wanted an unending supply of cheap foreign labor to compete with Americans and they wanted this citizenship question out of the questionnaire.

President Trump has shown himself to be a true American patriot in this and many other matters. He is fighting the globalists by placing the citizenship question back into the questionnaire. His actions were challenged in courts and the Supreme Court is scheduled to issue it’s ruling this week. I hope they will rule in favor of President Trump, in favor of us, the American citizens and will allow this question. If this question is placed back into the census questionnaire, at least 4 million people, who are not US citizens, are expected to be removed from the count. This is expected to happen in blue states, which are expected to lose a number of congressional seats

Should the U.S. Census Count Undocumented Immigrants?
By Robert Longley Updated February 22, 2019

The millions of undocumented immigrants living and often working in the United States are counted in the decennial U.S. census. Should they be?

As currently required by law, the U.S. Census Bureau attempts to count all persons in the U.S. living in residential structures, including prisons, dormitories, and similar "group quarters" in the official decennial census. People counted in the census include citizens, legal immigrants, non-citizen long-term visitors, and illegal (or undocumented) immigrants.

Why the Census SHOULD Count Undocumented Immigrants

Not counting undocumented aliens costs cities and states federal money, resulting in a reduction of services to all residents. The census count is used by Congress in deciding how to distribute more than $400 billion annually to state, local, and tribal governments. The formula is simple: the greater the population your state or city reports, the more federal money it might get.

Cities provide the same level of services — think police, fire, and emergency medical treatment — to undocumented immigrants as they do to U.S. citizens. In some states like California, undocumented immigrants attend public schools. In 2004, the Federation for American Immigration Reform estimated the cost to California cities for education, health care, and incarceration of illegal immigrants at $10.5 billion per year.

According to one study released by the U.S. Census Monitoring Board, a total of 122,980 people went uncounted in Georgia during the 2000 census. As a result, the state lost out on some $208.8 million in federal funding through 2012, about $1,697 per uncounted person.

Strange, I don't remember there being any option to not enumerate Undocumented Immigrants? In fact I seem to recall the constitution being pretty clear on the subject.

A party of THIEVES! All Dem candidates said they will not deport any illegals and will give them all free health care paid by us! Thieves!!!

A party of thieves! All Dem candidates said they will not deport any illegals and will give them all free health care paid by us! Thieves!!!

Today I watched the second night of Dem party debates and I was ready to scream.

Aside from many other issues that did not make any sense whatsoever, the most outrageous was their stance on immigration and health care.

Never in my life have I seen a group of people so flagrantly and arrogantly disrespecting the rule of law and flaunting it in our faces.

Title 8 of the US code is the immigration law which clearly states that coming to this country illegally is a crime. First offense is punishable by up to 5 months in prison and fine. Subsequent offenses are punishable by longer terms and bigger fines.

All of the candidates said that they will not deport people coming to this country illegally. What’s more, they all said that they will give all of the illegals Medicare. This is the state sponsored health care paid by us, hard working Americans, by our blood, sweat and tears. Each and every candidate on that stage raised his hand and stated that he or she will take our hard earned tax payer money and will give this money to people who violated our border and our sovereignty and who are here illegally. That is called THEFT!!! Pure and simple!

Why are they doing this? Their donors want cheap labor and want to dump the cost of the health-care, education an housing of this cheap foreign labor on our shoulders. This is called a racket! This is also a huge incentive not for millions, but BILLIONS of poor and indigent illegals from all over the world to cross our US border, to come here illegally and get free education, free health-care and everything else for free. This is an economic destruction of America. Trump should show this episode of them raising their hands and promising free health care for illegals in each and every commercial in the general election.

The Democratic party used to have some decent people. John Kennedy was one of them. Sadly, the Democratic Party became a party of Thieves!

She's getting dumber. Sometimes you need to use calculus when working with negative numbers.

Citizenship question can be printed on an additional page to be printed later. President Trump states that he does not give up the fight

President Trump stated that he does not give up fight on citizenship question in the census.

It was reported that census questionnaires are being printed now, however in my opinion the government can print a supplemental page and attach it to the rest of the pages that are being printed now.

In my opinion Trump should seek an emergency hearing and seek to add not only the question of whether one is a citizen, but also several other questions:

1 are you a US citizen

2. what is your immigration status: permanent resident or tourist visa or student visa or working visa

3. when does your visa expire

4. are you an illegal alien

The justification for these questions is that people whose visas expire shortly should not be considered in the total count for districting and funding. Similarly, people who are here illegally should not be counted as they will be deported shortly. These questions are essential for a proper count towards funding and districting for Congress.

President Trump, do not give up the fight. Citizenship question is the most important in the Census. Get different attorneys to take over the case and file an emergency injunction motion in district court. You have plenty of time to insert those questions.

At least she didn't suggest that people with skin darker than hers be counted at a 3/5th rate.

It's pretty much as if she read only the dissent and thinks that's the law of the case. Or that an emergency injunction can issue in a district court, and that a district court can overrule a Supreme Court decision.

I am surprised Trump didn't seek to appoint her to a position in the DoJ. She would be perfect. Maybe she can head up his impeachment defense.

The government is happy to announce that people will soon receive their inartfully collated, defectively stapled, and misordered collection of 2020 Census papers.

Luckily, her citizenship supplement will end up falling off before getting to the user. To bad for the person who receives 3,241 copies of the supplement, and nothing else.
