I'm at my mother's house, watching everyone else do work. I had to go back home earlier on because I forgot my meds. Hello old age!

So it's noon and I've drank my first scotch....

Do I have to post in the drunk tank for the rest of the day....???

A quiet day for me, hubby, and #1 daughter. Staying home and eating good food while listening to upbeat instrumental holiday music on SiriusXM. Menu: Chateaubriand from Costco, roasted potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, and pumpkin pie bars with vanilla ice cream and or whipped cream.

Some wonderful traditions and modified traditions shared here! Mine was quiet...house and doggie sitting, and brought Mom along. As with most folks, we are trapped inside while outside the deep freeze is not letting loose.

Neighbors invited us for an xmas meal, but only I went ; Mom didn't seem well. Put her back on O2, her O2 was 84!

But my usual xmas tradition isnt possible without Mister and Panama. And that will never be again, so time to start my own, new traditions.

Mrs had constipation combined with nausea, stool softeners, lots of water, some Key Lime yogurt, and a couple sips of the juice from a peach fruit cup. I made a small meat loaf, yams, and green beans for myself. Despite the recent freeze, I had plenty of fresh celery and parsley from the garden for the meat loaf.

Everything you need for someone experiencing a Code Brown in your household can be found of aisle 32. I mean literally everything. Even things you never thought about.

And Pro-tip: bring photos of exactly what you need to appear efficient and decisive.
