I agree with BB. LaFrance is not a journalist. They're a perfect fit as Orly is also not an lawyer. Okay... licensed, yes. Competent, no. Just like LaFrance. Except he's not "licensed" or credentialed, but... Oh, well, you get the idea.

So Jeffy is a registered voter in Hawaii? I wonder if he's also registered in California...

Also, Orly claimed twice that President Obama signed a consent for the public to access his BC.

How does she get away with such blatant lies?

Judge Nishimura displayed the patience of a saint, with just the right amount of condescension to convey "you are the freakin' stupidest attorney I've encountered during my tenure on the bench."

I agree with BB. LaFrance is not a journalist.Perhaps a little birdie should sing in someone's ear. To the legitimate press, also. Too.

Hawai'i's lawyers and judges are going to be sticklers about their court rules. That means Taitz will be making several more trips to Hawai'i until she gets tired of the useless trips and, eventually I hope, sanctions.

Jeff LaFrance's videotape of the hearing is posted at ORYR's blog. Complete with his editorializing in interludes between argument. It is abundantly clear that this is not journalism. Rather, it is a personal videotaping for creation of YouTube propaganda. If I were the AG I would file a motion before the next hearing and include the YouTube videos as exhibits.Well, without this fine citizen journalist we wouldn't have the video to know how wonderful Orly did. Hope someone saves the videos in case they disappear when LaFrance figures out they don't show mass entrenched corruption in the Hawaii courts.

W4 has a point. Sure, Jeff Ray is a birfing fool. But, he did provide the video. And some crazy commentary. We need a person who can edit his videos to show how is commentary is just so very wrong.

Judge Nishimura displayed the patience of a saint, with just the right amount of condescension to convey "you are the freakin' stupidest attorney I've encountered during my tenure on the bench."Absolutely. Of course, it's hard for even a saint to refrain from non-verbal reactions to the wonder that is Orly's understanding of the law. For example, at 2:05 of Part 2, Orly says that she'll provide her Reply to the Defense's Opposition Memo in her oral argument. When the camera pans over to Judge Nishimura at 2:07, you can see that the Judge's mouth is open, and remains open until 2:11. :D

Well, he didn't exactly say "jurisdiction". I read his reply as much broader than addressing jurisdiction. But if Orly chooses to limit the issue to "jurisdiction" on appeal, I'm fine with that.Kudos to Mr. Nago for discerning any proposed rule in that pile of poo.
