I wasn't sure where to put this, but this is probably one of the best explanation of "woke" I've seen. We need a place to gather up all the great comebacks to help our less thoughtful relatives, friends, neighbors, and others "get" it.

I know I'm a few days late and that even if someone had a way to read the whole thing they might not anymore, but I figured I'd ask on the off chance I could find out what was said.

Agree. It was a slur invented on the right. I have never hear a liberal use the word "woke"

There's a whole history of the term "woke" going back decades. Check out Wikipedia's article on the term - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woke.
