Queen Elizabeth got Donald Trump and that prostitute out of her house so fast the tea was still hot! President Obama and Michelle got a state dinner & spent the night at Buckingham Palace. Donald and Mayonnaise got 20 minutes at Windsor, a picture, a handshake and a slammed door!

Not to be catty again, but IMHO Melania's skirt was a wee bit too tight on the back side, considering she was going to have her back to the camera while facing the queen.

I wonder how often that happens to Her Majesty? Must be a novel experience.

As you all know, Her Majesty served in the military, unimpeded by bone spurs.

This video - at about 1:45 - shows exactly what you're talking about. Not a good look. And at about 5:00 is where Queen Elizabeth appears to direct Trump and he ends up walking in front of her.

She wanted him in the middle so she could be on the right-hand side, and he crowded her way over. Much clearer from that angle. Geez.

Trump is like a june bug, just bumbling around. He doesn't seem to be aware of the people around him. Or anything else around him.

God this woman just lies and lies and lies. Obama and Clinton also reviewed the troops. But none of them walked between the queen and troops. And none walked in front of her. Trump is the biggest embarrassment everywhere he goes. How about bow just to show respect? #TrumpUKVisit
Elizabeth has only been queen for a bit over 66 years.

Did anyone mention that he left her waiting there for 15 minutes as the idiot was late? No wonder he got the handshake and door treatment.

And I'm sorry that stanfing in front of her was deliberate. He was looking around at everyont with a big smug grin on his face "I just pissed on the Queenie muhuhuhuhuhuhuh!!"

Well, all those soldiers were there just for him, weren't they? They certainly couldn't have been there for an old lady? In the order of things, there's Trump, then there's everyone else.

The important part of the trip:
This is the outfit The Queen wore to last year's "dressed down" State Opening of Parliament. At the time, the hat was accessorized with yellow-centered blue flowers, making it look distinctly reminiscent of the European flag. I guess that feedback made it back to the palace, because the hat has since been redone, a bow replacing the flowers. Her Maj chose her mother's paisley brooch for today's event, echoing the swirling pattern of this blue fabric. And that's all we have to say about today.

Two days ago, Her Maj wore the strange Moss Agate Brooch that the Obamas gave her.

I thought this brooch would be a one-and-done thing, never to be seen after its original "courtesy" appearance - only because it's not really Her Maj's style - so this was a big surprise! This is what I've blandly called the American State Visit Brooch, a gift from President and Mrs. Obama on their state visit in 2011. The petals are moss agate, a unique material in her brooch collection. You can read more about it in our flashback to that state visit here.

So you'll note I'm pretty specifically NOT making a comment on why she may have chosen to wear this brooch today. That's because I like to keep politics away from here. Call it a measure of personal sanity. Thanks in advance for playing along.

I also heard that he kept the queen waiting. I'm not that crazy about royalty, but there is such a thing as respect. He was deliberately rude. I'm glad she only gave him a little bit of time.
