Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Post by tek » Wed Oct 10, 2018 6:16 pm

A while back, I had a discussion with someone in a thread 'round these parts about how machine learning models can go terribly wrong. I forget who or where, but I was poo-poohed..

A hot topic these days is "explainable models" .. where the machine learning is constructed so that you can can look under the hood and see how the resulting model makes decisions.. almost all ML/AI these days does not have that feature..
