We have a sauna in our HOA clubhouse. There was a homeless woman living in it. :eek2: Before our clubhouse was open 24 hours to members of the community with card key access, she'd wait by the door late in the evening, and when someone came out, she'd get to the door before it fully closed and let herself in. Then she'd wake up early in the morning and let herself out before the clubhouse opened. One day she overslept and the cleaning crew found her in there. Now she'd be easily discovered because the place is accessible by key card 24/7, and all the neighbors know to check the sauna if they go in the bathrooms.

Nice. What direction do you face?
You might want to convert those $CDN values for our US friends.

The building is v-shaped so my condo/balcony faces sort of northwest. It had a great sunset Monday night when I went to see it. I’m not sure what the exchange rate is right now (probably not good). ;)
$CDN = 0.7413 $US is the rate but in an exchange someone with US dollars would likely pay about 76 cents, possibly more.

75 cents is a good approximation.

So if I did my math right, it’s around $240,000 US?

I have two questions.

Donnie: Which crowd was bigger, your inauguration crowd or the crowds of the mass demonstrations?

The Supremes: Was this a well-regulated militia? What if even a small percentage of the demonstrators were legally carrying firearms?
Trump: Er hat eine größere Ente als ich.

Putin: Du bist kleiner als ich.

I spent yesterday on Livingston Mtn between Vancouver and Camas. The fields were flushed pink and violet with wild iris blooming. The phone cam could not see what my eye did. Gorgeous. I clipped a half dozen for Mrs.

The Grumman Employees Band in Dec 1974. All male and all white. I might be the newly-minted mechanical engineer holding an upright tuba. ;)

Good grief, that tuba looks massive. I know they aren't that tall, but you don't look like you were much struggling to hoist it for the photo-op.

I don't know what a sousaphone is.

I claim childhood trauma after my step-mother wouldn't let me take up violin in 6th grade (cause violins were for 'girls' -- seriously).

Am I forgiven?

Sousaphone = marching band version of tuba that you put your body into.

Tuba = second row, second from your right. The guy who looks like a mechanical engineer type. 😁

Hidden Treasure Chest Filled With Gold And Gems Is Found In Rocky Mountains
June 8, 202011:39 AM ET
BILL CHAPPELL

After sitting undisturbed for more than 10 years, a treasure chest holding gold nuggets and precious gems has been found in the Rocky Mountains. The box was hidden by millionaire art dealer Forrest Fenn; his only clues included a map and a poem. But after countless quests, the search is over.

"The treasure has been found," Fenn wrote in a statement to a blog run by Dal Neitzel for discussions among Fenn treasure seekers.

"It was under a canopy of stars in the lush, forested vegetation of the Rocky Mountains and had not moved from the spot where I hid it more than 10 years ago," Fenn said. "I do not know the person who found it, but the poem in my book led him to the precise spot."

The successful seeker has not come forward.

"The guy who found it does not want his name mentioned. He's from back East," Fenn told The New Mexican in Santa Fe. The find was confirmed by a photograph, he added.

The search for Fenn's hidden treasure became a sensation, luring tens of thousands of people to try to decipher the clues and embark on what they hoped would be a life-altering hike in the wilderness. But for years after the first clues appeared in Fenn's self-published book, The Thrill of the Chase, no one could find the right spot.
